Bungalowpark Het Verscholen Dorp

The holiday home was good value for money and exactly what we needed for our stay in Harderwijk. It is nicely located on the edge of the town with easy access to all major travel routes. The accomodation was as described an pleasantly spacious with plenty of room for 4 people (2 adults and 2 kids) (we got a 3 bed bungalow). Facilites were good, the kids loved the playgrounds and pool.

The only real thing I would of improved would be the lighting in the house, because it was nestled in the trees it was naturally quiet dark and it could have done with some brighgter lights in the main room but really it's just a small thing and not something that affected my stay.

The environment is great.

No dishwasher

Very good value for money, especially for a 3-bedroom accommodation, which is quite hard to find. The bungalows are functional, spacious enough, and fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location is excellent: quiet, peaceful, and perfect for walks or bike rides (although unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy it as much as we wanted because of the weather). Communication before the stay was very easy and efficient, with smooth email exchanges and convenient key collection outside reception hours, although the reception opening hours are admittedly a bit limited.

The only downside was the security deposit, which had to be paid no later than the day before arrival but is only refunded within 7 days afterwards.

Location is nice, the staff is very friendly and helpful.
