The gardens were amazing, the pool was outstanding. It was so peaceful and quiet, the room and bathroom were spacious, the staff were lovely, food was great.

The location was beautiful quiet area surrounded by rice fields and pretty views. We saw peacocks and other birds around. The pool was big and very relaxing to lounge around and swim in. They have a few games. The tree house room was huge and even had separate rooms for toilet and shower. The shower got warm enough, both bedrooms had A/C and fans. The staff were very kind and helpful. Beds comfortable. Close to the hikes we wanted to do. A short tuk tuk ride to restaurants.
The food was pretty basic, but okay. The road to get in a bit bumpy so one of our drivers had trouble.

We had a wonderful stay at The Hideout Sigiriya! The peaceful atmosphere, surrounded by lush greenery, made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely designed, and the staff were warm and attentive throughout our visit. The food was delicious, with fresh and flavorful options every day. It’s an ideal spot for anyone looking to enjoy nature while still having great comfort. Highly recommended!
The Wi-Fi wasn’t working in our room at first, but it was resolved very quickly. Aside from that, there were only a few minor issues not worth mentioning.

Friendly staff and good location - great view of the two rocks.
Treehouse is basic and in need of renovation - overpriced for what it is.
