Studio Les Moutières B1 et B2 - Val Claret-23 by Interhome

Good location, away from bars and noise. Great view.

No basics were provided, like just one toilet paper roll or washing up equipment would have been nice.

The apartment is a standard, smallish French holiday apartment. There is a reasonable amount of space for 3 to stay, including cupboard space (I don't know why the apartment is advertised as a 3 person as there are actually 2 pull down beds as well as a 2-person sofa bed - I guess 4 might be a squeeze in the space though). The bathroom is a reasonable size and the water pressure was good for the shower, with plenty of hot water. This apartment complex seems to have a lot of French holidaymakers and some residents so it is not as noisy as other blocks I've stayed in where there are a lot of students or younger people - there is not so much of a 'party' feel to it which we appreciated. The hosts/agents Interhome are nearby and were very friendly and helpful, I would use them again. There is a ski locker on the ground floor.

The kitchen is small and only just adequately supplied. The agents give you a starter pack including loo roll, bin bags and washing up stuff - it would be really helpful to have a tea towel as well as none is supplied. There is a small oven/rotisserie unit but it would be more helpful to have a microwave. There are four hobs but one of them did not work. Val Claret is a great location but staying here you are further from the lifts than other blocks in VC - you have to walk to one of the lifts/elevators and then get the bus or walk the length of VC to get to the main lifts in the area.
