Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bogota Zona G By IHG

The hotel is situated in a very nice area full of cafes, restaurants and shops. Our room was spacious, with big balcony and very comfortable bed. The staff were very polite and helpful. Good breakfast with wide fruit selection.

No complimentary bottle of water. Very basic stuff provided in the bathroom (shampoo, shower gel, hand cream), no things like shower cap or hair conditioner.

The beds are very comfortable

When I arrived after a 5 hours flight delayed they gave me a room for 3 people with the sofa bed that wasn’t prepared, (and it wasn’t enough space because if you open the sofa bed it’s impossible to open the wardrobe) I had to go down again to ask what is that room if we are 3 people, kindly they gave us another room for the third person telling me next day they’ll give me a room with 2 beds, also they told me to bring all my stuff down and they’ll bring it up to the new room, that day we arrive very tired and late and our stuff wasn’t there, I had to go down again to collect all my bags. Those situations were very uncomfortable for us that were very tired, at least I expect have a good experience in that hotel that I stayed many times in different countries and never experienced anything like that. They need more staff, it’s just one person at the reception with many things going on at the same time.

Confortable room, nice staff and breakfast

No complimentary water? That’s awful. But the worst part is, since I did the booking on the Booking app several phone numbers tried to reach to me through WhatsApp and mail asking me to click a link to “confirm” my booking, even when in the Booking app the stay appeared as Confirmed! These people had my full name, phone number, stay dates, e-mail. Some of the numbers were from countries different to Colombia, I’ve never ever had a this situation before with Booking in any other hotel.

Communication between staff terrible , no WiFi during my stayed and find myself going to cofre shops to be able to work
