Everything was wonderful, the staff were so hospitable and kind. The room was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant was very good, and went above and beyond to cater for us and our daughter. The view is beautiful, and location is very close to safari and ancient ruins.
Spa facilities were not operating, this was disappointing and wish this would have been communicated earlier to us.. no high chairs in restaurant, so meals with small children are very challenging. No bath in room.

The location is great! Right next to the lake and the museum. Beautiful scenery and the weather was very nice! The breakfast was awesome as well. The staff are very tentative and fix issues quickly
They are giving 10min free massage on Booking.com but when I arrived the spa is closed.

The location was superb with stunning views over the lake. Also a wonderful base to explore the ancient city of Polonnaruwa. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful and the accommodation was great.
The pool, while in an amazing location, was very heavily chlorinated which was not very pleasant.

Location
- sheets never changed (+ never asked if I wanted them changed)
- soap not replaced
- carpeted floors never vacuumed
- no place in shower for toiletries (ceramic bottles dangerous)
- chipped plates, soap dish
- food options too limited
- loud aircon exhaust outside room making sit on veranda unappealing
