We enjoyed the location on the lake. Thank you for the update grade. The room was very comfortable.
We booked a few months in advance and were penalized by paying much more than if we booked a week in advance. … and that was for the upgraded room which still cost less than we paid.

The setting and location are stunning! We enjoyed the beautiful views of the lake at the sunset. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from to the main entrance of the museum, which was super convenient to visit the Ancient City of Pollonoruwa. We rented the bicycles in the reception. The coffee maker in the room was a plus.
The menu was limited, and slightly expensive compared to other similar hotels in Sri Lanka.

- sheets never changed (+ never asked if I wanted them changed)
- soap not replaced
- carpeted floors never vacuumed
- no place in shower for toiletries (ceramic bottles dangerous)
- chipped plates, soap dish
- food options too limited
- loud aircon exhaust outside room making sit on veranda unappealing
