Ferienwohnungen Burg im Zwinger

Wat een bijzondere plek om te overnachten! Alleen al daarom een verblijf waard. De Zwinger ligt aan de rand van het centrum van Goslar en daarmee op korte loopafstand van diverse musea en restaurants. Supermarkt en bakker zitten praktisch om de hoek. Goslar is ook een uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes in de omgeving. De check-in verliep zonder problemen via informatie die we per e-mail kregen en met een sleutelkluisje. De auto konden we tegen een kleine vergoeding in de omliggende straten parkeren. Onze studio was niet groot maar voor 2 personen prima. De keuken was bijzonder goed uitgerust met o.m. een grote koelkast, oven, vaatwasser, veel glazen en allerlei toebehoren.

Het gordijn in de studio sluit niet helemaal tot aan boven waardoor de kamer tijdens ons verblijf in juni erg vroeg licht werd. Ook goed om te weten dat de accommodatie wel verwarming maar geen airco heeft. Het staat keurig in de omschrijving vermeld, en voor ons was het geen probleem, maar houd er rekening mee dat de kamers alleen bereikbaar zijn via 2 trappen.

Heel compleet ingericht, alles is aanwezig. Mooie spullen!

De trappen

Es war schon etwas besonderes in einem Zwinger zu nächtigen. Vor allem was man aus so einem Bau alles machen kann und muss, um es bewohnbar zu gestalten, waren beeindruckend. Die Ausstattung war top, gerade in der Küche. Selbst ein Eierkocher zählt hier wahrscheinlich schon zum Standard. Die Lage zur Innenstadt war genial und auch zum Einkaufen für Nahrungsmittel war es nur ein Katzensprung. Die Vermieter waren super nett. Als sehr positiv haben wir den Link mit allen wichtigen Informationen empfunden, welcher Empfehlungen für Wanderungen, Ausflüge, Gaststätten uvm. enthielt. Auch Preis-Leistung absolut stimmig. Von uns klare Weiterempfehlung.

when staff did turn up for check in she was very friendly. the living room and decor was very unique and I liked it. the location was good, short walk into town. the place was very clean.

the check in process is very long as you have to message the property for someone to then travel to the accommodation. from start to finish the check in process took nearly an hour with the waiting time. there was scaffolding all outside around the building so the stay did not give us the feel we wanted and we couldn’t get nice photos of the location. they also didn’t let us see the museum, even though we were staying there. it was only for groups of 10 or more. we were not told that the second bedroom on the two bedroom apartment is adjoined to the double bed room so you have to walk through the double bedroom to get to the second bedroom. this should be in the description. the twin room was very basic and did not have curtains covering the top half of the windows so to bright in the mornings. they charge for towels, which is a negative for me.
