Beautiful hotel. Quality food. Lovely staff

Beach is very narrow but hotel can’t help that. Palm trees and general vibe more than made up for that. Plus the property itself is on the beach really.

It was a highlight of our almost 2 week Senegal trip. Beautiful property by the sea. We upgraded to a Chef's lodge and it was just amazing. Super spacious, airy, beautiful terrace and beautiful sea view. Location is great. Beach infront was super clean compared to the rest and all the team extremely helpful and attentive. Very nice and relaxing. Breakfast was simple (eggs, baguette, some fruits, tea / coffee, juice).

I would add bit more fruits / yogurt for breakfast for those travellers who don't prefer bread.

On site was excellent. Property was clean, safe, well maintained. Staff was exceptional. Macoumba was specifically exceptional. He would proactively anticipate our needs, he handled beach goers (eg, ladies selling items, kids, etc.) in a polite way to make us more comfortable. We could tell the local people respect him. Other staff: Ibrahim, Farmara, Pelage, Aminita, Maria, Samba were very nice and accommodating as well.

Beach (just outside property) was very dirty. Not necessarily reflective of Tama Lodge but it hindered our desire to go on long walks. WiFi was overall good but it was a challenge to hold a video conference call during visit. It had some glitches.

The stay that surpassed all of our expectations! The location was wonderful, right on a beach with magnificent views. The building is designed with authentic Senegalese details, extremely well maintained, spotless and very comfortable. Beach was cleaned every day, with places to sunbathe as well as chill in a shade. Restaurant was very romantic, with beach views and dim lighting. We booked Suite Royale room and it was really special - all of the furniture was handmade, authentic fabrics and details, fantastic views and a huge terrace. It was understated luxury and incredible comfort. The most memorable was staff - impeccable service, very helpful and great hospitality! This place is truly magical and suitable for families with children as well as a romantic gateway.
