Breakfast was good, accommodation lovely, hosts accommodating and lovely sorting out problems quickly, kitchen facilities and common space great
Bigger sheet on the bed, rather than 2 very small sheets, the water was not always reliable, sometimes cold, sometimes too hot to stand under. Location a bit far from town - which is my fault as I should have checked the distance.

This is the second time we booked at Palakal Residency Homestay. This time it didn’t feel like we were guest, but instead it felt like coming home to stay with our family. Anthony and Lissy are very caring and hospitable hosts that are happy to share recommendations, tips, and help where they can. They provide free water, tea, coffee and offer amazing breakfast at a very reasonable price. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with AC and private bathroom. There is also a cosy common area and terras where you can sit. I would definitely recommend this accomodation to anyone looking for a nice and cosy stay in a nice neighbourhood close to many touristic attractions and public transport.

The accomodation is located in a cosy area, close by the water, and with a busstand nearby. Lissy and Anthony are the kindest hosts and made us feel like home. They gave us free water, tea and coffee. Also, make sure to try their breakfast, which is delicious and they made different types. I would recommend this stay if you want to stay in a more quiet area, but still close to fort cochi.

You feel bad leaving a bad review because the hosts were so nice and helpful. That's what happens in Kerala, they are so nice.
Breakfast was really nice and of course the host. There is a nice terrace to chill
Room needs some maintenance and cleaning. I got confused of room amb my key opened another room. All the looks worked with the same key. It's very far from Fort Kochi or the jew district. Can't be done walking. It's about 30 minutes drive. Didn't like that one I got at night in my room (it's like and appartment with different rooms) they look with key the apartment door so I could not get out
