Senasis Rambynas

Authentic guest house filled with historic stories and ethnographic items. The entire area is very well maintained, elegant and cosy. The owners and the staff are super friendly, nice restaurant, excellent location. This was not our first stay here and we are already looking forward to being back again.

Atvykome penkiese – du suaugę ir trys vaikai. Vaikai iškart „dingo“ kieme: tyrinėjo aplinką, lakstė po žalią teritoriją ir maudėsi, o mes galėjome ramiai atsikvėpti po kelionės. Tvarkinga, prižiūrėta teritorija ir besiganančios avytės suteikia dar daugiau jaukumo ir džiaugsmo vaikams. Labai patiko vietos atmosfera – renovuoti, daugiau nei šimto metų senumo pastatai, autentiški interjero akcentai ir ramybė aplinkui sukuria jausmą, kad vieši svečiuose pas seniai pažįstamus žmones, o ne komercinėje apgyvendinimo vietoje. Kambarys buvo tvarkingas, švarus, su viskuo, ko iš tiesų reikia šeimai viešnagei. Restorane – labai skanus maistas su „namų“ pojūčiu, o personalas ir šeimininkai Ramūnas bei Aušrinė sukūrė tą retą atmosferą, kai jautiesi nuoširdžiai laukiamas svečias, o ne tik dar vienas užsakymas. Būtinai sugrįšime!

The hotel is in the middle of nowhere; however, signage from the main road is good and is easy to find. It is in a renovated old Prussian house and full of atmosphere albeit with all modern comforts. Food was good, both for breakfast and for dinner. Service was lovely and very friendly. Check in and out were so informal that it was more like visiting friends.

I had only one small complaint – there was a small (maybe 1.5-2 cm) raise on the floor in one part of the room (probably the remains of some old construction). It should be marked with some bright line. I hurt my toes there twice until I got used to it. For some people it might even be dangerous.

This place is like heaven. Everything is so nice there. Location, rooms, food and staff.
