The location is convenient, within 1-2 hours of major national parks, north, east and west. The house complex has spectacular views of the mountains and sits within a 5-10 walk of a beautiful river. Every house has a patio, a portion of grass, access to barbecues, and comfortable outdoor chairs and tables for outdoor living. We enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying the marvelous views. Our house was big enough for 6 people, with comfortable beds, a large dining table, and enough sitting areas. The A/C unit works very well in the lower floor. And the washing machine and clothes rack allowed for easy laundry, as the hot, dry air, and the south-eastern exposure dried out clothes quickly. The host, Alfredo, was very friendly and accommodating, always willing to help with any particular need. For instance, we asked for a fan and three extra dishwasher pods, and he delivered them promptly and with a smile.

Only three things merit improvement: 1) The cool A/C air had a hard time reaching the two upper floors, particularly the top floor, and it was rather hot upstairs. We also hit a particularly warm stretch of weather, with temps in the upper 30s Celsius (90s Farenheit). 2) the toilet in the master bedroom did not flush properly. 3) The walkway street lamp sat right outside our unit and because we had to open the window in order to enjoy the cooler night breeze, we were forced to sleep with the bright light in our bedroom.

The whole areal is just lovely. Situated on a river, bathing allowed, and close to a plethora of hiking trails and other activities. It is quiet, clean and peaceful with wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. You have all facilities you need already there: full kitchen, barbecue, even a prepared activity suggestion website if you are not prepared yourself. Definitely a rebook if we return to this area. Also next time I would try to refresh some school Spanish so that one can talk to the lovely hosts (or provide a WhatsApp compatible phone number, big sorry!)
