About this house rental
Our Hualapai mountain retreat is the perfect choice for an escape from the summer heat of Laughlin, lake Havasu, Las Vegas, and kingman, or a stopover on your trip along Route 66 located just 12 miles from Route 66 at an elevation of 6200 feet makes the temperature 15 to 20 degrees cooler than in the valleys below. We often have snow in the winter it is best to carry chains or four wheel drive and check the weather at https://www.accuweather.com/en/us/pine-lake-az/86401/weather-forecast/2274079 . Our rear patio has a gas fire pit with seating for six, propane BBQ, dinning table overlooking the forest below. Our cabin has two bedroom and two and one half bathes, it has a full kitchen with a dishwasher, full size stove with two ovens and full size refrigerator with ice and water in the door. The master bedroom has a king size bed , 32” tv, the master bath room is attached. There is private entrance to the rear patio. The second bedroom has a queen size bed. The living room has a large gas fireplace with a 50'' smart HD tv (netflix,amazon movies,show time and more) and a sleeper sofa.The dinning area has seating for six. The upstairs family room has a 60” HD TV, pool table, wet bar, full size sleeper sofa and a one half bath. The Hualapai mountains are known for an abundance of wild life spotting, and the miles and miles of ATV and hiking trails We have deer and elk visiting in our front yard most every day, there are elk all over the mountain. You can sit in the restaurant (excellent food) and often view the elk from the window Make our cabin your first choice while visiting the mountains for a romantic weekend getaway or a family vacation.

We had such a great stay, the house was big enough and comfortably accommodated all of our guests. The master was lovely! Overall, just a great place to relax and unwind. Thank you so much for hosting us!

The winter wonderland location made up for the dated kitchen cooking pans and beeping garage monitor.

I would give the property a 4 star my husband said a 3 star. Property looked just how it does in the pictures. We liked the place and liked the area. However, it is not being maintained well. Bar area was covered in dust and when we opened the blinds there were LOTS of dead flies and months on most of the window ceils. I brought a dog. The grass in the back yard was 18"- 4 foot high. It covered the lounge chairs. Only one burner worked on the BBQ. The gas fireplace didn't work. Once we got it working it ran out of gas in less than 5 minutes. The garage door didn't work. Mike had to fix it to get his motorcycle in. I did call host and he had workers out within hours. They said it worked but use it as little as possible.
The road in is not good for HD motorcycle or a Corvette.
My husband really didn't like having to take our own trash out to the lodge trash bins. We feel there cleaning people can do that.
With all this said the amenities provided in the cabin were great. They had shampoo & soap. They have every small kitchen appliance known to man. Lots of dishes and pots and pan. Plus tin foil, zip lock bags. Salt, pepper and other seasonings. With all that being said we would probably stay again but would not bring the motorcycle.
