The cottage was centrally located in the village which was very handy for the two pubs ( The Swan and The Fleece) both of which did excellent evening meals
The cottage was clean comfortable and very well equipped
The road was a bit noisy and the birds pooped on the cars and the doorstep overnight as they sat on the telephone wire! Neither of these things spoke our stay and are beyond your control!

Minor thing but Fire in lounge didn’t work (? Batteries in remote) other than that and rotten weather - perfect

A superbly renovated cottage with everything you could possibly need having been carefully considered. Very generous welcome package on arrival and the cottage was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Extremely well located between Skipton and Ilkley. We hope to return soon.
There was only one tiny niggle and that was the blinds in the bedrooms did let the light from the street lamp in at night.
