Managed by the same family for over 123 years, "Floods Cove" is a timeless haven for those seeking an authentic Maine oceanfront experience.

Whether you seek a luxurious family getaway filled with outdoor adventures or a serene adult retreat, this cottage is the ultimate destination. The Westwind combines “Camp Chic” with modern elegance, featuring knotty pine ceilings, nickel-gap white walls, poplar doors, and crystal doorknobs.
The cottage comfortably accommodates guests with three bedrooms: a master suite on the first floor and two additional bedrooms with a bath upstairs. For extra guests, a cool queen bed is available in the new dry basement, along with a washer and dryer for convenience.
A standout feature is the expansive wrap-around porch, offering panoramic views of the ocean, the beach, “Pa’s Island,” and all of Flood’s Cove. This is the perfect spot to unwind, read, socialize, or nap while enjoying the refreshing summer breezes and warm sunshine of the Maine coast.
With private access to the beach and ocean right outside your door, you can wade in the water, swim, or explore over a mile of exclusive shorefront by kayak or paddleboard (included). After a day of seaside activities, rinse off with an outdoor hot water shower, designed to soothe and refresh.

This will go down as one of the best vacations we’ve ever had, the location was amazing and so peaceful! The Flood family were wonderful and great to visit with. Will definitely be back.

We met friends here with our families for a week and had a wonderful time. This is a special property in terms of its privacy and beauty and water access. The Floods /Thompsons are excellent hosts.

Beautiful house with high end finishes and amazing views of the cove. Very unique setting with access to kayaks, small beach, and walking trails on large property shared by several houses and cottages. Westwind is very private but you can interact with the friendly folks in the other House has a large covered porch that you will happily spend a lot of time on. Stairs down to the water just off the porch. Very comfortable for two couples, one baby and one young adult in basement bed. Hope to be back again!

This was an amazing location for my immediate family to reunite for a fantastic fall Maine experience. The location is second to none, located on a serene cove with beautiful, uninstructed views and the house itself is a beautiful, modern property. We were so happy to avail ourselves of the wrap around porch for sunrise/set coffee, the kayaks for exploring the local water and the fire pit for a cozy camping experience. The house was well appointed with all the amenities that were needed. Chuck was an extremely welcoming and communicative host who added to the whole experience and was easy to contact with any questions we had. We will certainly be coming back again!
