Apartment Platières-4 by Interhome

The location was perfect, for bars, restaurants, supermarket, and pharmacy,, the closest chairlift (tuffs) a leisurely 5 minutes stroll.funnicular could be reached in under 10 minutes. Check in was very easy and the key pick up was about 2 mins from the apartment maybe less. We were even able to check in 2 hours before our allotted time slot. Loved that there were loads of hooks to hang up equipment which is great for skiing/snowboarding,. The shower was hot every time it was used (take a plug if you would like a bath) The kitchen area although quite small had everything we needed, be aware there isn't a conventional oven although there is a microwave and small grill/oven. Tignes as a resort is my favourite french resort I have been too, the slopes are exceptional but it was the people that made it, from the moment we checked in with Interhome until we left every one we met were extremely friendly and the general vibe of the place was spot on!!can't say the same for a few of the other resorts we have been too. We were so happy with the apartment and area we actually booked the same time for next year hallway through our holiday this year Also I forgot to mention that the view from the apartment and balcony was breathtaking. Looking right out onto the stade de lognon, we were lucky enough to be able to watch racers practising for a race.

The apartment is a bit worn out in places but no different to any other apartment we have stayed in. Could maybe do with 1 or 2 extra cooking pots/pans and the tin opener wasn't the best but for the money paid seriously splitting hairs. Oh and a plug for the bath but we will take one next year
