House of Fisher - Central House

Location very good

Was told we could have a bath but on arrival having rung to enquire why we had a shower instead were told a bath was not available.

Very comfortable and secure. Housekeeping was accommodating. If you are looking for a place to stay and hate hotels, House of Fisher is a great alternative. And they have locations in the UK.

everything went well. Good location, modern amenities, friendly room arrangement, excellent lighting, clean and well organised apartment. Building and key access was user friendly

The idea of having to pay a deposit which happens to be more than amount for 2 nights. Though, deposits are refundable but i do not see reason why this should be a required obligation

The location, layout of the apartment, cleanliness, safety. Easy to check in and check out. Welcome pack of water and some snacks.

This is not a place to stay in summer. Especially when its 30 degrees outside. They have no AC, but thats ok. They dont even have a proper fan. Just a tiny namesake and when we asked for another one, they said they have to order one and we will have to pay😳 This is the first time ever we are experiencing this. They will decide how many toilet rolls you should use ( in our case for 5nights 1 and half roll for 2 people). When I asked for 1 extra roll they said we need to buy our own. And for everything, we have to call their customer service which is somewhere in Reading. Maybe its ok for people who stay just for a day or 2, but please make sure you are aware of the facts before you book for longer time. We were stuck as it was a last minute booking for us.
