About this chalet rental
These 3-bedroom knotty pine cottages are just 75 feet from the water and can be connected to form a 6-bedroom Beach House. Included with your stay is access to free kayaks, stand up paddle boards, row boats, aqua trike, and pedal boat, plus a discount on jet skis, pontoon boats, lazy river tubing, and ATV guided tours! One side of the Beach House consists of 3 queen beds, and the other side has 2 queen beds, 2 single beds, and a futon. Both have fully equipped kitchens with a coffee maker and utensils, A/C and heat, TV, WiFi, and all necessary linens. Private picnic tables, campfires, and BBQs with screened in porches are also provided. This property was perfect for my husband and I, my 2 dogs, and my niece snd her boyfriend. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Had a great time. There’s lots to do even on days when the weather isn’t so great. The kids enjoyed playing basketball and walking around the grounds. It was a chilly weekend when we were there. Our basset hound enjoyed sitting outside on our beach house spot by the fire pit. A/C and the heat worked well when needed. Beds were comfortable. My 12 year old loved the loft area. Can’t wait to go back when the weather is better and do more of the activities they offer there.

On the plus side, our unit had excellent mattresses. I also think it's a good place for people with young children. There is a nice playground and outdoor ping pong and the swimming area seems designed for kids. It also has outdoor seating for each of the units, which is very nice. However, I traveled with my adult sons. We had a difficult time staying online. We found the swimming area to be less than desirable. I was particularly aggravated that we were charged a cleaning fee and the unit we got was not very clean. (The linens and towels were fine. But there were crumbs on the kitchen table and the floors were dirty). By the time we paid all the fees associated with a VRBO rental, we were paying a lot of money for our unit. To that end, I was expecting more quality and I am disappointed with what we received.
