We stumbled upon this place completely by chance while traveling from Hungary. It was a very pleasant surprise, with wonderfully situated log cabins in the woods, a beautiful lakeside setting, and a well-equipped kitchen with a grill and a bathroom. We’d love to come back here anytime. The staff was also super friendly and helpful.

Location is REALLY beautiful, just at the beach of Saimaa, one of the prettiest lakes in Finland. There are saunas you can book for a fee, which is great. Bathroom was clean as was the cabin, staff is really nice. This is a big area offering many kinds of accommodations. Ours was the most basic one but it had a great view and it was neat.

There could be mosquito nets in windows in cabins. There is not air conditioning which itself is not an issue but when it gets hot and you cannot keep window open due to bugs, then it might get a bit tough. We were lucky because for some reason there were very few mosquitoes but this isn't always the case.

The staffs are very friendly, accommodating, and helpful, and the common kitchen and shared bathrooms were actually kept very clean. There is ample space between the cottages for parking, making it comfortable to move around outside, and the cabin fits the exact number of people it's meant for. Plus, there are plenty of activities for kids and kids at heart, with nice places to visit nearby too.

The downside is that our specific cabin wasn’t properly cleaned when we arrived. I had to sweep the floor immediately because there seemed to be rat droppings, dried leaves, soil, and dust. The area around the beds wasn't treated well either; there were so many ants that even after borrowing spray and having the staff treat the room, they were still there. We ultimately had to put the mattress on the floor so one kid could sleep there while the other stayed in bed with me. Lastly, they could definitely improve the kitchen equipment, as the stove wasn't good enough to cook heavy meals, and the mini-golf course is neglected, with broken tracks full of mold and soil.
