Top situation at the foot of the beach, ideal if you are a private beach fan ( in Diano Marina, 90% of the beaches are private and very expensive from 01.06, there are 2 tiny public close to the appartment but not the nicest ones...) Monica was always attentive to help in any issue (she comes with a translator since she does not speak english) The appartment is renovated with quality and good decorative taste. Very practical if you do not like stairs and if you like being on the groundfloor Very close to the center with a nice 10 mn walking along the sea promenade, it was end May very quiet with nice atmosphere and we were lucky that we could park our car everyday along the apartment in a small street for free (but in the high season, it must be difficult) The apartment was very quiet to sleep, the bedrooms are on the back side to the patio and no neighbours were there. we were alone. The kitchen was small but the dish washing machine was highly appreciated. We were allowed to make check in earlier which was great for our children.

The appartment gives directly on the footpath and street (not much traffic luckily) as if it was a shop. The neighbour is a bar where clients can sit just on the corner of your window. There is a main outside iron window/grating protecting from the people/thieves. This one cannot be opened. If you wish to feel open air with opened windows in the dining room then you cannot. But this is not even recommended since all the people walking along your window can watch you. The appartment has view on the sea but mainly on the terrace of the bar. The clients cannot see the sea but they can see you since they look at the street. I felt watched although this was low season and very quiet. I cannot imagine in August. I felt unfortunalety closed like an animal. You can put the indoor iron window to be protected but then this is very dark. The apartment is top if you do not care about lack of privacy but this was not for me but my children did not care and that is good so. The positive thing: it was not high season and the bar was closed very early in the evening. The bathroom is dark and without window. Humidity is high and towels cannot get dry. you can use the drying rack but ours was always full with clothes. There is towel heating radiator but is not allowed to work in the hot season. Water pressure in the shower very low. The shower cabin is very unpractical to shower small children since the water tap cannot be touched when the cabin stays open. The bed mattress is only for soft mattress lover. We missed more dishes and toaster (to avoid using the dish washing machine so often, what is not ecological)
