Fabulous apartment with the most incredible views. Balcony facing the big mountains. Host very helpful. Super clean and well equipped. Best end of Mürren, quiet and not so many tourists, with routes easy to find up to mountain walks or cable cars.

We were not sure how to divide and dispose of our rubbish waste. Maybe some instructions on this would be handy.

Spacious clean chalet aMürren

Spacious 3-bed 2-bath chalet with a nice balcon and mountain view close to the main skiing gondola. Relatively clean and the owner was attentive to our needs. Useful notes all around the chalet about what to do/what not to do etc.

Could’ve been cleaner (duvet covers/bedding/mattress had a faint smell). Not good isolation (owners living above are pretty quiet but we could hear whenever they were up at 5-6am since their floor was our ceiling). No ventilation in bathrooms (we kept the bathroom windows cracked open while there during the day but all the smells still lingered).

We loved Murren and this Chalet.

Most reviews of this property mention the view from the balcony and there's a good reason for this. Its stunning and pictures just don't do it justice. The Chalet is elevated so you look over the other houses in Murren. The location is quiet too. The accommodation is super clean, well equipped, amazingly insulated, comfy beds, lovely wool duvets and plenty of space. The Coop for all your grocery shopping is five minutes casual walk away down a slight hill and the Gondola both up and down the mountain a similar distance. I could happily spend months living in Murren and this Chalet.

Would be nice to have a couple of large towels each in the bathroom and two pillows each, but this is a really minor detail as the chalet and location are fantastic.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Chalet Schonbuhl and wished we could have stayed longer!

The location was superb! We absolutely loved sitting out on the little balcony and watching the scenery over morning coffee and evening glass of wine. We loved that it was close to the coop, so we could buy our own food supplies and we could just start out on our daily hikes from our front door. Absolutely wonderful accommodations!!

Well organized and warm greeting. Apartment had everything we needed. Kitchen was equipped well with all cooking supplies and condiments. Very quiet location and perfect to go straight for a walk or hike.

Exceptional

Everything. Annemarie is an excellent host. Property close to everything short walk to gimmelwald. Super clean and have all you need for cooking etc. would not hesitate to stay here again. Close to gondola station walking distance. I give it a 10 out if 10. More if I could.
