Apartment Jardins Alpins 1 by Interhome

I stayed at the apartment with my adult son and we had a great long weekend ski trip in January. The apartment is very close to the gondola station and an easy walk. The place was warm and perfectly fine for a lads weekend. Some of the kitchen appliances were pretty old, the coffee machine and TV are certainly on their last legs. There is a microwave and a hob for cooking in pans but no oven that you could cook a pizza in for example. The place has a covered parking garage which is quite tight but nice to have. Key pick up for check in and check out was great.

The place is getting a little tired, especially some of the electrical appliances like coffee machine or TV which could be easily upgraded for a nicer stay. I would not go here with my wife for a romantic break but great for a lads ski trip. Please note there is no table to eat at as such just a breakfast bar with stools.

Perfect location for the ski lift. Quiet area at night. Ski lockers on site. Free parking nearby if you have a taller vehicle that doesn’t fit in the garage. Walkable to restaurants, bars, shops. We have stayed before in this exact accommodation and have accepted that it is basic yet convenient for our needs. Interhome are responsive as an agency.

The fridge is still broken (was broken a year ago and reported). The freezer section has now been ziptied shut so you can’t store ice or frozen food and the door storage is taped on, which broke last year and we lost beers. So didn’t trust it this time. The clothes drying rack is even more broken than last year and your drying clothes fall off. The lack of onsite working wifi. Though you can hire a wifi device, it works using a sim card. So just as poor reception as your telephone (intermittent). A waste of money. The property would benefit from proper wifi, I would happily pay more to have access to this.
