Country living at its finest! With magnificent mountain & small lake view.

This was our 2nd time staying here for Athens Big Fork Marathon. The house is cute, with all the amenities you need for a great weekend!

Arkansas was just amazingly beautiful and the scenery from this place did not disappoint! Owner was beyond helpful and kind and checked in on us most days to make sure we had all we needed. Property manager was always available, helpful and pointed out wonderful restaurants. Plenty of room if you have a large gathering. Garage availability was amazing! Pool table was a lot of fun as well. We rode some wonderful trails and it was quite an experience.

Terry is always there to welcome us. Checks in to make sure our stay is going well. Got rained out of the trails 2 days of our stay. We utilized the hot tub & pool table while cooped up. Was our 4th stay & we’ll be back.

We had a great family trip. Plenty of room with lots of amenities needed to make our stay just like home. Property owner was extremely helpful, courteous, and great with explaining certain areas of trails we were wanting to get to. Perfect weekend getaway!

This was such a nice location. The house was older but so charming and very comfortable. There was 16 of us and we all had plenty of room. The land is beautiful. The owners are so friendly and Mr. Terry was so accommodating and knowledgeable of the area. We will definitely be booking again!

I took all my kids, spouses and grandkids for a family mini vaca. The owner was so kind and helpful! The property is beautiful, peaceful and secluded but also very close to Walmart and other things you might need. Rode ATVs to the trails daily, great location. The house is older but had everything we needed and accommodated our family perfectly. Kids caught fish daily, loved our daily visits from the cattle and the cats! We would stay again for sure!

As a group of 12 we road trails everyday of our 4 day stay. Some of the people did not want to ride the trails everyday and they went to town to shop some of the local shops. Some hung around house and fished or hot tubbed. We bar bq the evening meal every night. Made a fire for the women folk one night with a little nagging., The house was great. Clean, nice and ready for our gang. Terry was a great host. Terry showed us how to operate the house, hot tub, lake, and how to read the trail map. We had a great time. Thank you Vrbo and hosts.

It was an older home on an absolutely gorgeous piece of land. The kids had a blast and caught lots of fish. Minutes from trail heads. We made lots of wonderful memories.

This was our 3rd time to stay at this property. Terry the owner is like your long lost uncle you’re glad you found. Experience amazing sunrises on the back deck overlooking the pond as geese & ducks fly in. Home is central to all trails, can ride anywhere right from the house. Soak in the hot tub as the sunsets. Always plenty of wood for s'mores time. We’ll be back.

We came in for a Running Race at Athens Big Fork. This house was great. Had everything you need for time away. Terry was very kind to show us around when we got there. Vivian the manager responded to text and emails promptly.

We were a group of 12 the youngest was 9 & the oldest was 64. Vivian was a charm to work with always answering any question that came up. Mr. Terry was waiting on us when we arrived at the property to give us a tour of the home. Wish we could have visited with him more. But being we were staying over Christmas I’m sure he was with his family. The house is well laid out. The pool table downstairs was used everyday. Thank you so much for sharing your place with us.

2nd time at this property, most welcoming genuinely nice owner. Terry is helpful & makes you feel like you’ve known him forever. Beautiful property, geese on the pond, cows in the pasture…breathtaking.

We really enjoyed our stay! We rode the trails, my husband enjoyed the fishing, and we all enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere! The place is beautiful and the owner is full of great information and rich in history! Thank you for a fabulous time!

Perfect little birthday getaway spot! We fished, sat by the campfire that the host Terry built for us & ride ATV’s on the trails. The house is older but had plenty of space for 3 different families to stay. We enjoyed hiked around the property too.

Our whole group really enjoyed our stay. Mr. Terry was super helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. We caught enough fish to fry. We rode the ATV trails everyday right from the house. Plenty of room to spread out. We will be back!

This place was perfect for our group of 13. We had plenty of room and an area for the younger folks and an area for the older ones as well. Terry came by everyday and checked with us to see if we needed anything. Just make sure if you have a large group, you bring big pots to cook in. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a blast, great property, lots of room for our boys to play. Close to trails for our side by side. The owner was great, he would check in on us and make sure everything was going good. We would definitely come again and stay here.

This was a great place to spend our vacation! We had a big group of 11 ages from 4-68 everyone had a great time. We rode all the atv trails and went to eat every night. The house was clean and large enough for everyone to enjoy themselves we will be back ASAP! We loved Mr. Plunket and his dog Bob he was very helpful with the trails directions.

Beautiful, serene property, close to town & trails. Close to fun/action but so relaxing at home. Fully stocked, adorably decorated home...enjoyed watching cows/geese from porch/hot tub. Terry is the best!

So nice!!! Away from everything and has a beautiful view! Terry was a wonderful host and very helpful!! He checked in to see if we needed anything every day. Vivian was very helpful in setting up the reservations. The only thing I would advise to those not from Arkansas, you will be looking for the road sign with Polk 55 on the right side of the road and Polk 55 road is on the left. You will see a sign for the town of Nunley right before Polk 55. My entire family enjoyed our time at the Rocking P!

This is our second time staying here for Thanksgiving and we love this house! The people are so kind and it is absolutely beautiful here! We will keep coming back

We had a wonderful time at the ranch. We played pool and other game's. Fished one afternoon pulled in about a 3# BMBass. Over all we would do it again. Owner very nice, went over & above to make it a great stay. Thank both of you.

I'm so glad that we found this location. We've visited Mena many times as our family likes to ride ATVs in Ouachita National Forest. Finding a location large enough for our large family of 10 to 15 to stay is always a challenge. But this place was fantastic. There were games, there was fishing, and there was even Bob the farm dog. The house was clean, well stocked in the way of household needs and kitchen supplies, plenty of sleeping space with very comfortable beds. The home was decorated with such unique decor and interesting family history. but to top it all off, the owner visited each day, shared his knowledge of the forest, offered his assistance in any way he could, and in short we made a new friend. this will be our number one spot for staying in Mena going forward. Highly, highly recommended

The property was exactly what we thought it would be! There was plenty of room, a beautiful view of the pond and peaceful nights by the fire pit. We hiked at the mountain and enjoyed the beauty of Mena.

Our family of eight really enjoyed our week at Rockin’ P Lodge. Mr. Plunkett’s rustic home was spacious and more than able to accommodate the needs of seven adults and one child. The beds in the home were comfortable and the rooms were plenty spacious. The family history lining the walls and antiques added a real character to the place. The kitchen is stocked with most everything that we needed to cook three meals a day for our large group, and the dining room was able to accommodate us all at meal time, utilizing the charcoal grill onsite most days. The views of the ranch from the large living room windows and porch areas are a stunning reprieve from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We enjoyed family time in the downstairs den area playing pool and darts as a family as well. While it rained most everyday of our stay we were also able to steal some time in the outdoor hot tub, which was so relaxing! Our family enjoyed much time on the private pond there on site fishing where we caught brim and bass. The little one in our group especially enjoyed the fishing! Even with the weather not entirely favorable we all caught fish, some over three pounds! In the evenings and early mornings wildlife (a family of deer, raccoons, squirrels and an array of birds) come right up to the house, and we could sit on the porch and watch them for an hour or so before they moved on. As country folk ourselves we enjoyed being surrounded by the sounds of his cattle farm. The location is great as well, a mere 6 miles from Mena, the town large enough to find anything you may have forgotten or happen to need, but still nestled in the quiet of the mountains with no nearby neighbors. Mr. Terry was very helpful, as he stopped by daily to ensure that all of our needs were met, but wasn’t intrusive in the least. We really enjoyed our daily chats with him as well, a true cowboy. The daily visits from Bob, the lodge hound, were a treat as well, he’s a good boy. Our family hopes to return to Rockin’ P Lodge soon, as it’s the perfect spot in west central Arkansas for a quiet family get away for our large group.

What a wonderful location! The house was big and roomy and I loved the decor. We enjoyed the fishing in the pond and the wonderful hospitality. We will definitely stay again.
