The location is unique. The view is amazing. Hardly anything comparable in or around Lisbon. Not the easiest to get there (but it also works with Uber/Bolt). The food is amazing. Great breakfast and amazing service. Especially Flavio made our stay very special with his personal and very engaged service. The garden is great and the sunsets are the best around Lisbon. Easy to get to the city from there. Also the beaches of Caparica are very close.

This was the 2nd time that we visited the hotel. We were surprised that this time there was no food served during the day. You can get amazing breakfast and really good (but a bit pricy) dinner, but there was no food option during the day (even though the hotel accepts to order Uber Eats). Last year they still offered food during the day which was especially convenient for pool days. Also, in case you get food from a close-by supermarket, we did not have a fridge in the room (we had 2 rooms, there may be other rooms with a fridge). In addition, unfortunately there was a little problem with the drainage in the bathroom, resulting in a quite unpleasant smell from the canalization from the bathroom. This could not be fixed within an entire week. Apart from that, it is an amazing location. I recommend a stay, just be aware of the above regarding the food.

Maybe the road to get there could have some repair, but it also gives even more impact after riding it to get to kind of a paradise ☺️

The staff, the views, nature and the suntanning. So peaceful and beautiful.

The rooms weren’t well insulated so you could hear every other guests door close, and speaking. Also, terrible sewerage smell outside the one section of rooms… which lasted the full time we were there - and yet; even though that smell was not great… we would stay again - simply because of the views, nature, and staff. Peaceful. But I’d stay in the more expensive rooms away from the smell.

The location is stunning. The sound of birdsong and horses neighing. The view. The swimming pool. These are all fabulous. The room was fine and big. It was cleaned daily. It was very peaceful.

We had been told at check-in that there was food available between 8am and 11 pm, apart from 30 minutes at 6 pm while they prepared for dinner service. So when I looked for food at 3.40 pm on Sunday afternoon and was told the kitchen was closed and there was nothing available (apart from drinks), I was pretty annoyed. Given that it is marketed as a 5 star hotel and its location is very remote, I would expect that there would be some sort of food (even nuts, chocolate etc.) available throughout the afternoon. The breakfast was fine, but having to pay over 10eur extra for two coffees is ridiculous! While some staff were very helpful and welcoming, we felt others may need more training in hospitality.
