7 Kale Bed and Breakfast

The location was great and myself and my adult daughter very much enjoyed our stay. I would suggest the hotel is modeling itself more like and Air B & B with breakfast, although apart from in the room there is nowhere to sit and read or enjoy a coffee etc as the breakfast area is very functional. We arrived on a Friday late pm and the instructions as to how to enter the hotel were very straightforward and helpful. However apart from the girl working in the breakfast area there was no one else around in terms of staff over the weekend. Fortunately we did not need any help so we cannot comment how helpful the staff would have been in that situation. We appreciated the water in the shower was always hot and the room was extremely quiet. Whilst we would recommend the hotel myself and my daughter noted two points for improvement.

There was no fridge in the room or drinking water available in the hotel apart from at Breakfast. During our stay there was a heatwave but we had to purchase water from outside and by the time it was in the room for an hour it was warm. We felt given a fridge is not provided then a water dispenser would have been very welcome. At night the machine in the kitchen provided hot water but there was no milk to make a cup of tea etc which is often welcome if there are no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms. If you are going to charge for a change of towels etc this should be notified we believe in advance. We were also unsure if this charge was applicable to extra toilet paper etc. This was not a cheap hotel and whilst I did not mention it there was quite a large tear in the bottom sheet on my bed which was on the side of the bed as I got in. These are small points in what was a very enjoyable weekend and we were both more than happy and felt very safe and comfortable staying at 7 Kale so these are suggestions for what could have made the experience that bit better.

Great location for the bars, museums & churches in the Old Town. Clean, comfortable,quiet room with a balcony overlooking the square. Very helpful handyman Carlos, & the woman serving breakfast.

Took a while to master the codes for the front door, floor (4th) & room. The lift broke down on our last day.

Perfect, central location. It was nice to have two bedrooms and two bathrooms with 4 people. Good communication by Whatsapp. Luggage storage.
