Beautiful and excellently kept old house. Very comfortable and the property is gorgeous. You are greeted with a warm welcome, then left to yourself unless anything is needed. I loved the stay and wish it had been longer than a single night. I will return every time I am in the area!
The only negative, and it was minimal, was the very thin walls that let me hear my neighbor up most of the night, and when they weren’t, the snoring was like an alarm clock for me. Otherwise, not a single complaint about anything the property owners can control!

Amabilitat i atenció exquisita. Casa excel•lentment rehabilitada i decorada. Netedat exemplar. Habitació molt acollidora i còmoda. Tranquilitat absoluta. Entorn natural idílic. Esmorzar boníssim. Relació qüalitat preu excel•lent. Molt recomanable. Sens dubte, hi tornarem.

Lounge/library. Awesome collection of books
We were looking for a convenient place to stay en route from Portugal to Northern France. Because of a holiday In Spain everywhere was booked out except here. We arrived at 4 pm. No food or drink available so we had to drive back to Montenado to look for scraps of food. The hotel is a nightmare to find. Poor signage and unknown to the satnav. For people having the time and wanting to relax in a peaceful setting then our criticism would not apply.
