I have stayed at the hotel many nights and stays. I enjoy the cleanliness, quietness and style. Everything is right there for you. Beach. Yoga. Restaurant. It's safe. It's quiet. People are polite. If they had a lap pool, I'd never leave.

I have been visiting and lodging at this hotel for the last three years. I absolutely adore this place!
I booked the basic room this time as the price surge was over 200% since the last year. Unfortunately the nightly rate offered, did not meet basic standards. The room was dirty upon arrival, the floors were dirty, there were crickets inside during the stay. Unbearable bright lighting. The room was only cleaned once during a 4 night stay. Food and wet towels left outside the door for three days. There is definitely room for improvement, especially at the rate being charged.
The staff is indeed incredible. Thank you for all. I will definitely be back, and hope to return to the nicer rooms upstairs.

The outdoor and common spaces are really nice, the location is superb with oceanviews galore. Occasional beach vendors but nothing like other countries in LA. The "ultra basic" rooms we got were damp, dark, and sounded like attached to a laundry room or something? These were at the top end of our budget already so we're priced out of the nicer rooms. The al a carte included breakfast is superb though, gotta mention that!
