It was very cute, nicely decorated. Just enough room for both of us. The hot tub was amazing and the surroundings were so nice, a lot of attention to detail.

Superior Chalet - excellent facilities, very clean and loved the layout. Staff were excellent and made sure we had everything we needed, explained how hot tub works very simply and provided us with fire wood whenever we needed it Loved the privacy given by the layout of the site We would definitely stay here again.

Loved everything apart from the wifi didn’t really work in the chalet but this wasn’t a huge issue because we wanted a quiet weekend anyway

Really private and peaceful. Was brilliant escape from the city. So picturesque. The cabin was extremely clean. Other than the rooster waking us up which we can let slide, the stay was amazing.

Everything was absolutely tremendous, to highlight one disappointment would be impossible.

Family weekend to celebrate a birthday.

This is our second stay as a family to celebrate my sons 40th birthday. We can not recommend it highly enough. Everything you need and more on site to keep a family with children entertained. Beautiful area to enjoy. Special thanks to owners Dougie and Anne for making our holiday very special. ❤️

Top facility to refresh

Well maintained facility, the room is clean and well fitted with everything you need. There's a hot tub, games room, fireplace with wood provided. Each cabin has seats and tables outside it also.

Overnight stay in the cabin, absolutely loved the place.

Absolutely blown away, photos don’t do it justice. Facilities were great, the cabin we stayed in was awesome and just the right size. Area is beautifully designed and done very well, you can see how much love goes into the place. Ann and Dougie were very welcoming & kind, giving us a tour of the place and lots of information for our stay. Games room was perfect, lots of different games to play and a great place for kids and adults.

Definitely worth the stay!

location is remote but not too far away from nearest town. there's information about things to do inside the cabin. owners are absolute gems, always willing to help, always made sure we had enough firewood for the firepit and the hot tub, and asking what we got up to during our outings with genuine interest. they asked us when we were thinking about heading back so they could have the hot tub warm and prepared for us getting back. there's a games room facility, a communal kitchen as well as your own personal microwave oven inside the cabin. a beautiful site with brilliant owners. would reccomend this site to anybody looking to stay. will definitely come back again too.

We were staying in Cabin, it was amazing!!! Playroom great for adults and kids we had so much fun.

Very clean property, everything what we needed was there, great place to spend time with family or group of friends, there was two community rooms including cookers washing machines, air fryers,tv, places to make bbq - big playroom including tennis table and much more my daughter love it every minute there, I really would recommend to everyone you won’t be disappointed!! Owners are so lovely and very helpful 10/10.

Everything, location is brilliant and the Shepards Hut was immaculate and had everything needed for an enjoyable stay, wood fired hot tub was a bonus and well enjoyed, Dougie couldn’t have been anymore helpful, very friendly and full of knowledge and advice on places local to visit, would definitely recommend and return for another stay.

Everything about the site exceeded our expectations - from the friendly welcome, to the comfort of the tippee , to the additional on site in & outdoor seating facilities and the dog walk route. Loved it and highly recommend.
