A welcoming, cosy and traditional hotel.

The hotel was really traditional and cosy. The room was spacious and very comfortable with a large balcony and a great view of the mountains and the beginning of the Vikos gorge. Breakfast was homemade and delicious. The small village of Elati was pretty and a perfect place to spend a white Christmas. The location was handy for exploring the rest of the Zagori area.

Exceptional

Our stay at Shamrock Elati was unique, since we felt like we were in a family. It's a quiet, traditional hotel, with magnificent views and excellent hospitality from the owners. Breakfast from Ms. Popi is amazing but the same applies to every food/dessert produced by her kitchen. The next time we visit Zagorochoria, for sure we will stay at Shamrock Elati again.

Best place I have visited so far

This is the best place to stay near Ioannina! Clean and well made cozy rooms, with that distinct old style that makes you feel welcome. It's a old style hotel that survived ages and through out generations has changed hands during different occupations. That makes the place very special. The hosts were 2 amazing people that made you feel special to be in their hotel, and gave you a small taste of the real traditional Greek hospitality. They gave us directions and helpful tips for our visit but above all were a great company for those chill nights at their bar, telling stories and having fun. The breakfast was handmade and plenty, with a variety of foods for every hungry soul. The place has a parking spot Would definitely come again, and again!

Great spot, wonderful manager

Shamrock is in very smart central spot, if you want to explore the villages of Zagori (Ζαγοροχώρια). You can easily organize daily trips to different directions. The guesthouse combines various styles in a quiet interesting way. The manager/owner Mrs. Popi is a wonderful person and a great cook. A real jewel! Always smiling and always extreme helpful. A true symbol of the Hellenic hospitality. The bed was very comfortable and the night sleep was very relaxing. The central view to the mountains is breathtaking.

Superb

The breakfast was great with homemade pies and really good ingredients. The view from the room was fantastic.The room was sparkling clean with nice touches. I was kindly provided a hair dryer when asked for it.

The room we were given didn’t match the images I had seen on booking. The room was smaller than expected. I would expect a slightly lower price for this reason. All the rest was great!

Un moment marquant de notre voyage en Grèce !

Dans un voyage, il y a toujours une étape qui vous marque pus que les autres ! Pour nous, notre séjour à Elati chez Panos et Pénelope, les propriétaires, a été celle de notre séjour en Grèce ! Un accueil simple et chaleureux, des échanges riches , un vrai bonheur. Et que dire des petits plats et petits déjeuners, préparés avec sincérité et talent par Penelope. Un regal! Chambre avec vue sur la vallée, au calme du petit village d'Elati! Grand merci à eux pour ce séjour que nous n'oublierons pas! Allez-y sans attendre, vous ne le regretterez pas, si vous recherchez l'authenticité et la sincérité !

Bien-être au cœur du village de pierre

Nous retiendrons d'abord la présence chaleureuse et bienveillante de nos hôtes : les conseils sur les sites à découvrir ; le petit-déjeuner et le repas du soir qui nous régalent de spécialités locales ; ambiance feu de bois dans la cheminée. La vue depuis la chambre est grandiose. Ce mois d'avril, panorama sur une chaîne de montagne encore enneigée. La chambre est spacieuse, confortable, la décoration du plafond est typique de la région.

Το κατάλυμα και οι παροχές του ανταποκρίθηκαν πλήρως στην περιγραφή τους και στις προσδοκίες μας. Απόλυτα εναρμονισμένα με το περιβάλλον, την φύση και την ιδιαιτερότητα του τόπου. Πάνω από όλα η θερμή φιλοξενία των ιδιοκτητών, της κας. Πόπης και του κου. Παναγιώτη, μας καταϋποχρέωσε δημιουργώντας ένα ζεστό οικείο φιλικό κλίμα, που έδεσε αρμονικά όλους τους επισκέπτες και τους ιδιοκτήτες. Θα ήταν παράλειψη να μην αναφέρουμε την υπέροχη μαγειρική της κας. Πόπης, η οποία ολοκλήρωσε μια καθολικά ξεχωριστή εμπειρία με παραδοσιακές σπιτικές γεύσεις.

Στο Samrock Elati Retreats όταν μιλάς για τα αυτονόητα σε αφήνουν χωρίς πρωινό ...!

H τοποθεσία είναι εξαιρετική !!! Η δροσιά και η ηρεμία του βουνού ακαταμάχητη!!!

Διαμονή 22 έως 24 Ιουλίου 2022÷ Οι τοίχοι του δωματίου στο ισόγειο ήταν σαν χάρτινοι!! Ακουγόταν ο παραμικρός θόρυβος από το εσωτερικό του καταλύματος και τον εξωτερικό του χώρο επίσης ,όπου έως τις δώδεκα το βράδυ δειπνουσαν ,μιλούσαν δυνατά και γελούσαν οι πελάτες ,με την ιδιοκτήτρια του καταλύματος να γελάει ηχηρά και να κάνει την περισσότερη φασαρία από τους πελάτες της .... Της Ζητήσαμε ευγενικά κατ επανάληψη να κάνουν Ησυχία ,διότι το πρωί η αδελφή μου συμμετείχε ως δρομέας στο Zagori Mountain Running των 21 χιλιομετρων , αλλά χωρίς αποτέλεσμα ....!!!! Το αποτέλεσμα του αυτονόητου που ζητήσαμε το βράδυ για Ησυχία ,ήταν να μας αφήσει η ξενοδόχος χωρίς πρωινό μετά από ελάχιστες ώρες ύπνου .....το οποίο πρωινο περιλαμβάνονταν στην τιμή του δωματίου !!!!! Παρότι μας είχε ρωτήσει τι θέλουμε για πρωινό ,αναφέροντας μας μάλιστα ότι θα έχει φρέσκο κέικ ,τυρόπιτα και μπουγάτσα , που μας άρεσε πολύ το πρώτο πρωινό της διαμονής μας εκεί !!! Στο Samrock Elati Retreats όταν μιλάς για τα αυτονόητα σε αφήνουν χωρίς πρωινό και ας γνωρίζουν ότι πήγες για ειδικό σκοπό, για να συμμετέχεις στο Zagori Mountain Running των 21 χιλιομετρων !!!!

Ένα τέλειο τριήμερο

Το Shamrock ειναι ιδανικό για να χαλαρωσετε. Περάσαμε τέλεια. Ωραίο δωμάτιο και καθαρο σε ένα όμορφο παραδοσιακό διατηριταίο κτηριο! Η κα Πόπη και ο κος Παναγιώτης υπέροχοι και πάντα πρόθυμοι να εξυπηρετήσουν τους πελάτες τους. Νιώθαμε σαν να μας φιλοξενούν στο σπίτι τους. Όλοι ήμασταν μια μεγάλη παρέα. Η τοποθεσία ιδανική για να επισκεφτείτε όλα τα Ζαγοροχώρια. Σίγουρα θα το επισκεφθούμε ξανά.

Ισως λίγο ακριβό για τις παροχές του...... δικαιολογείται βέβαια λόγο της περιόδου των Χριστουγεννιάτικων γιορτών. Δεν έχει καμία σημασία τελικά γιατί οι οικοδεσπότες σε κάνουν και νιώθεις σαν το σπίτι σου.
