Phaedra Hotel

The location was convenient, and the lady at the front desk was genuinely kind and welcoming. The property has an authentic, old-world charm that some guests may appreciate.

I have to be honest—the price is comparable to a 5-star hotel, but the room felt more like a basic 2-star stay. The building is very old, and I could clearly hear people walking in the room above. The shower was extremely small, and there was no way to properly darken the room because the windows had no blackout curtains or shutters. While the atmosphere is charming, I don’t feel it justifies the price charged.

Lovely hotel in a great location a few minutes from the port. The owner and staff were wonderful and made our stay in Hydra even better.

The room was ok, beds comfortable, AC, you get some free water in the fridge...

The breakfast was bad. They served some pastry, one boiled egg per person, butter, some bread, jam and fruits. They put coffee in a thermos, to take as much as you want, but only enough milk for one coffee per person. No water available at the breakfast terrace. The fruits... the slices of peach were without taste and the watermelon slices the worst I have ever tasted in Greece. For this price range, I call the breakfast serving a disgrace. Taste the fruits before serving. Put some drinking water for the breakfast terrace. Don't be cheap on the milk for coffee.
