Macdonald La Ermita Resort

The view from my balcony was amazing looking over the sea and Fuengirola.

The apartment doesn’t have a smart TV and 32’. No welcoming freebies not even a bottle of drink water.

A lovely stay / holiday in a beautiful Aparthotel with breathtaking sea views. We stayed in a Superior Collection Two Bedroom with sea views and terrace (room 45) - there are only 2 of this kind of apartments in the hotel, the other being room 39. The apartment is stunning and beautifully and stylishly decorated throughout. There are 2 outside pools both of which are quiet allowing for total relaxation. Staff are very professional and helpful and are a credit to the hotel. Thank you for a lovely stay and we are looking forward to returning in the future.

Fantastic! Very friendly team, super clean, perfect space and lovely pool area. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Good arrival & check in. Apartment was fine on first view. Kitchen appeared to be designed by someone who doesn’t design kitchens as the cutlery was in a separate unit in the living room.

No sign of a cleaner for the apartment throughout the stay. No towel or bed change all week. Bins in the apartment never emptied. Sunbathed by the upper swimming pool. A high wind one night blew pine needles across the sunbathing area & into the pool. The area was never swept or moped whilst we were there or the pool properly cleaned. The whole experience gave the feeling of insufficient staff and lack of care about the facilities and guest enjoyment. We’ll not return to the resort despite the fantastic nearby town.
