About this house rental
This apartment (attached to the main house) offers a peaceful stay within walking distance to historic downtown Lake Placid NY and the local Jackrabbit trail. Also, private driveway (fits 2 vehicles bumper to bumper) and secure mud room for additional storage.
Dogs accepted but must be kept on a leash in the yard.
There is one queen bed in the bedroom with an attached full master bathroom (en suite), and a queen futon in the main room. (There are stairs required for moving from the bedroom/bathroom to the main level.)
Easy access entry way with large secure mud room for storage.

It is in a beautiful and quiet nook of the town. You don't feel like you're only a peaceful 15 minute walk from the bustling main strip, but you are! One thing you have to get used to is that it is at the bottom of a hill anywhere you go, so bring some hiking boots! Lake Placid is a place I will bring my family again and I will definitely check the availability of this property.

So close to the main strip of town without any of the "hub bub"...easy to get to everything even on foot. I've never stayed in a rental property before & had no idea what to expect, i was COMPLETELY pleasantly surprised! This was the most comfortable place that felt like home very quickly...i had so many events to attend I didn't get to enjoy the homey environment as much as I would have liked to, but it was so great to get back to at the end of each day. I am so very glad i opted for this location & not a hotel. You will NOT be disappointed!

Great little apartment in Lake Placid within walking distance to downtown. Just be warned, a lot of hills if you are walking.
