What a pleasure to stay in a chateau. Beautiful restoration. I enclose a photograph which I took and would love to know what the hotel makes of the strange lights in the sky, which I did not see when I took the photo…? My wife took a photo at the same time, independently and the same light effect is present on her Samsung image….

Fairly charming, quiet and comfortable hotel.

Quiet and relaxed vibe. Pleasant breakfast. Would certainly recommend as a stop off.

Our room (one of the studios separate to the main hotel) had a musty smell, that might bother some people - we got used to it fairly quickly. Our room was also connected (via a locked door) to the next door toilet - so we could hear other guests using the bathroom (I placed a rolled towel at the base of the door). It is relatively basic, but functional - just don’t expect the same kind of 4* experience that you would get in an urban setting.

Perfect French chateau experience!

Fantastic location with a really nice relaxed vibe, we had a great stay and will definitely be back on a future occurrence. Staff were really helpful and friendly

When staying in the castle the shower was very low, while I’m used to that with 1.92m it was also way too low for my wife at 1.75m. This was not a real issue just more of a nuisance

Fantastic Experience

So exciting to stay in a Chateau. The room was nice and cozy, the bed was in the loft. wacked our heads a couple of times so be careful but it's a Chateau. We had dinner there. Absolutely delicious. The grounds were just coming alive as it was early spring but some trees were in bloom and you could smell them while walking around. There is a pool in the back. We will be going back in the summer one year.

Lovely little chateau with top notch staff

We had booked as part of an anniversary and birthday trip but even though we were the only dinner guests management could not do enough. Chilled wine outside as the afternoon sun went down, a lovely meal cooked just for us. And on top of a room upgrade to a large comfortable suite that oozed old world French grandeur. Many thanks to all concerned :-) x

A must stay for something different and have dinner there as well. Exceptional.

We loved this property from it being out of the city and away from everything. The property is immaculate and the dinner there is delicious! A must do if you can. We were lucky enough to look around the Chateau and couldn’t believe how good it looked. Perfect spot for a wedding/function. Pool was bonus for a quick swim before dinner.

That the pool hours were closed earlier on in the evening (6pm). No cutlery or pans in the room which is a bit odd since there is plates, bowls and a stove top. We were okay as we didn’t eat in the room but if you were going to eat, there isn’t anything there.

Hand but no bath towels Red wine poured at dinner when I ordered white Warm white wine had to ask for ice bucket as it was undrinkable Large room but as has been said before ruined by cheap Art Deco furniture- bought at a Brocante ? Ordered fish salad- came with meat on top ( no mention in menu) Only 2 dinner chooses- beef or saucing ( with meat ?? This place has helpful staff but is completely out of touch. I would not stay again

Tranquil, timeless, chic

Perfectly tranquil, timeless, chic - totally welcoming hosts (including to our four legged friend, Margo), delicious, locally sourced meal and bonus of EV charging. Our only regret is not having more time to savour another meal.

props for all the staff for making this a perfect stay in a beautiful chateau

everything from the moment we arrived until we departed..we stayed in room 4 which was dreamy and spacious with great views on the domain. our dog had the time of her life and didn’t want to leave. the food at night is incredible made with such lovin and delicacy. the hostess knows exactly how to give you a perfect night and can suggest the best wines to pair with your dinner. we dined 3 days and they surprised us every night. We both are very critical about dining but this was spot on 3 nights in a row. breakfast is good basic and fresh, a warm welcome from the host every morning and showing true interest, is something we don’t see very often anymore. props for all staff who made our holiday. We are def coming back

Nice place, dinner was ok but nothing special. The real disappointment was the rooms in the château were not usable because of a problem with the hot water , so we had to stay in a room in the outbuildings, which was rustic but clean.

Perfect breaky... historical mansion ideally located between pastures and ponds...

Everything perfect. I am an artist doing murals and this place is totally unique. The owner is a talented writer and his wife is charming. The ukrainian staff and chef efficient and very attentionate.

Chateau experience

Was an experience. Creaky chateau with lots of history. Staff were amazing. Great breakfast. Regret not taking dinner there as it smelled so good.

Rooms were comfortable, but one was a loft with very steep steps. Don't have too much wine.

The room and the bedroom were spacious and beautifully decorated, the mattress was very comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, with delicious options for all tastes. Patrick and Sofia were fantastic, offering us all support any guest would like to receive. The structure is located at an amazing rural area and the chateau is as beautiful as a castle in the movies.

There could be a kettle in the kitchen area for us to prepare a coffee or tea in the room.

A beautiful building in a peaceful location, with spacious rooms and excellent food and service.

Excellent personal service during the out-of-season period. The dinner was memorable, obviously produced by a chef with very high standards.
