Fabulous! I almost didn't choose this place because of the lack of a private balcony, but they have a huge balcony with a beautiful view in the common breakfast area that is available for anyone, and we always had it to ourselves. The breakfast was fabulous, and the room was very comfortable. We're shy and thus get a little nervous with B&Bs (sometimes hosts are very social), but this was very private. Self-check in and breakfast on your own time. Of course the host was available and happy to help if we needed anything. Would absolutely recommend!

Simple value-for-money accommodation in quiet location and run by delightful family. The breakfast room including fridge and tea/coffee making facilities is available throughout the day. Large range of teas available. The owner had left treats on the table (paprika crisps) as well as chocolate brownies and milk in the fridge for us to help ourselves. Bathroom was clean with good shower.
Luxury it's not, but it's quiet and comfortable with everything a traveller needs and all for an excellent price

Good priced accommodation with a good bus access from the train station. In a quiet area with a great access to hiking routes. We had a great view from our window - overlooking the mountains. There was a convenient access to the kitchen with various appliances, such as oven, microwave and a kettle - very useful for home cooking; as well as a table to eat at in our room. The instructions were made clear via messages on booking.com on how to access the property and get breakfast.
The property itself remained unlocked with a big sign announcing it to the outside - making us feel a bit uneasy, especially at night, accessing common spaces. As the rooms have no private bathroom we needed to cross the communal corridor, access to which was available to anyone from the street without any key needed. No private bathroom was inconvenient, and the bathroom itself was small, and rather outdated. The shower was difficult to use and possibly broken, the shower doors were hard to manoeuvre and the water blocked leaving loads of leftover water on the floor after the shower. Overall, the property did not feel clean - especially the communal areas. The kitchen in particular was quite filthy, and smelled bad. Breakfast was disappointing. Most of the items were still in the fridge when we arrived - we had to look for it ourselves - a rather sad selection of cheeses and ham and some jams. There were also fruit. cereal, milk, Nutella and some hardboiled eggs. No vegan or gluten-free options provided. Bread was the biggest disappointment - a selection of bags filled with leftover bread, all quite stale and looked a few-days old. As the bread required self-cutting it all felt quite unhygienic. There were pre-packed waffles and pain au chocolates (2 of each to be exact) in numbers that suggested they were not re-stocked that morning (and we arrived almost as soon as the breakfast opened). We were left highly disappointed in the selection. The sitting area was also open in the flat of other guests - which felt somewhat uncomfortable and for people who do not want to mix with others (at least first thing in the morning) created unpleasant intimacy. Having said that, whilst the intimacy or closeness with other guests might be to be expected in a B&B. other aspects of B&B experience were not fulfilled - that is, we never got to meet our hosts in person and the breakfast was self-served rather than a buffet-style; and the instructions were all online.
