Perfect place to stay in the Dolomites. Sol e Nef is a modern and comfortable hotel located in a very quiet area, away from the crowds you find in Cortina or Ortisei. At the same time, there’s a small square nearby with a few useful facilities, so everything feels convenient.
The owner is extremely helpful — she provides plenty of tips, local recommendations and insider information that really improve your stay.
The rooms are modern, clean and cosy.
Breakfast is a highlight: delicious fresh croissants delivered straight to the room make the morning feel special.

2nd time stayed in these lovely apts where you have privacy and amenities of an apt while hotel service with daily cleaning and fresh bakery! Apts are made with good quality, great design and nice decorations. The owners are such a nice people, very helpful with great advises. Good parking, ski room with boots heater and an elevator in the building. Ski bus stops in front of the house to go either Sella Ronda/Marmolada or Civetta.
Sottoguda/Rocca Pietore is very peaceful and charmful village with great vibe and gorgeous mountains around. Serrai di Sottoguda (alpine gorge with incredible rocks and water/ice falls) is about 5-10 mins walk from the house. This area is known for wrought iron craftsmanship and you can buy beautiful hand made crafted decorations for interior, lightening, souvenirs etc in the shop close to the house. I highly recommend it!

Very kind hosts: Margherita and her husband. They were willing to stay up late to welcome us and were very helpful in tips for lunch and our ski-trips.
Just a short drive or skibus-trip from the Marmolada-lift.
The village is quite small, so don’t expect a lot of dinner options within walking distance (by car there are plenty more)

Great value for money, ideal for us as we travelled with a car (but there are buses as well). Close to Marmolada and the best pistes IMO in Dolomites in Arabba and Canazei. The host was very nice and accommodating! The room was big and it was cleaned every day, all towels being replaced. The parking right in front of the building and easy accessible if you need the car multiple times a day.
