About this cottage rental
Four acres nestled in a wooded setting. Unique location with access to several Civil War sites, Whitetail Ski Resort, hunting and hiking trails. Washington DC and Baltimore approximately 70 miles away. Close access to I-70 and I-81.
Dog friendly, but not on furniture. No shoes inside. $50 fee per dog.
Property Manager close by. Video surveillance outside.
Strict cancellation policy!
An administrative fee of $50.00 per night if the horse property and shelter are being utilized.
Gettysburg is approximately 40 minutes from the home.
Antietam Battlefield 15 minutes.
Appalachian trails 10-15 minutes
You can float the local creek if you have tubes or kayaks.
Hershey Park 90 minutes.

My mom, aunt, cousin and I always try to plan a shopping/getaway weekend each year. We decided to revisit the Hagerstown outlets (we used to go here years ago when I still lived in Maryland). In looking for a hotel I thought why not check out some house rentals and see what is available. I kept coming back to the Cozytown Cottage. It had everything we needed and was not far from anything we wanted to do. Jen, the owner, stayed in contact and answered any questions we had. The place is remote and we drove by the driveway a couple of times before we found the right place BUT it’s so serene and quiet and had everything we needed. We loved getting together again for our girls getaway since 2020 was a no go. Thanks Jen for letting us stay in your cottage.
