    Not worth it. They may assign you a substandard room despite charging a premium rate. This happened to me. After I raised the issue, they moved us to the room we had originally booked.

    Really cozy rooms, with cool, rustic, finishing, and plenty of space for three of us preparing to ski every day. The free sauna was a massive bonus, and there is yoga each day at an extra charge, but also a lovely touch after a day ski. Located on the outskirts of town makes it really easy to access remarkable and coronet Peak, but we still had views of the lake which was beautiful. Huge added bonus is having the first NZ Michelin star restaurant located on the premises!! amazing dinner, incredible service, lovely atmosphere. Thanks to all for a wonderful stay.

    Overall standard of the room was okay what let it down was the tired and dated facilities, chipped and damaged paint work a door that looks like it was jimmied open at some stage and no TV. was quite excited about going to the two hat restaurant with a intro on the menu about using local produce, which i think more restaurants should do. Apart from vegetables from the garden the only local meet was the Angus beef, which i assume was local, and seafood, last time i checked lake Wakatipu was fresh water. There is an abundance of local lamb, pork, wild and farmed. I expected a bigger choice. There is an amazing choice of restaurants and eateries in Queenstown, having an award sometimes isn't enough when you have other choices. other than the general feel of the accommodation being tired and dated, the view from my room was fantastic and the coffee was great.
