Mark met us at the door and was very welcoming, explaining some of the history of the house. It is very interesting and if furnished in the style of its period, which is fun. The four poster bed was great and we also enjoyed having a sofa looking out of the window. The location is good, near restaurants, a coffee shop for breakfast and within walking distance of the centre

Great communication and Mark the host was lovely. Fantastically interesting property right in the heart of Dorchester - can’t get any more central! Really useful to have parking and the room that we stayed in was great - large and with everything you could need. Will stay again!

Owner very friendly. Extravagant room deco. Large radiator. Comfortable bed.
Lumpy or hard cushions. Used two Summer bed blankets, instead of one Winter blanket which kept sliding around during the night and did not keep warmth. No shower water pressure. No welcome snacks, just a bottle of water. Very underwhelming
