Relaxed stay near the beach

Nice location, a walking distance to the beach. Very quiet surroundings. Owner was very friendly. Nice garden with very neatly kept flowers and trees to chill out. Small but well equipped supermarket and some restaurants 100m from the hotel. We stayed in the chalet and it had the necessary things to cook for breakfast and dinner. The room was clean. Our own little terrace. Free parking place.

The wi-fi did not work sometimes. Bathroom was on the small side.

The location is excellent. Close to the beach and a short walk from the forest aria (great for an early morning walk!!)

The “chalet” (mobile home) was in pover state, really small, a bit moldy and smelly, poor beds, no smoke/CO detectors, 60s heating, no glasses only mugs, and a toilet on which you can’t sit straight unless you are 1m40 or smaller. This shouldn’t be allowed to be rented out in 2021 to be honest (not against these hotel prizes at least)

Comfortable room with good location

We stayed at the Zilvermeeuw for one weekend. The hotel is within walking distance of multiple nice restaurants, a small supermarket and close to the beach (10 min walk, 5min by bike which you can rent at the hotel). Depsite the 35 degrees and holiday season there was plenty of space on the beach if you're willing to walk a few extra meters. The hotel has a spacious garden and roof terrace where you can relax quietly and the owner is always around to help you out if you need something. All in all a great place to stay!

Disappointing

Dogs were allowed. Good attitude from the staff. It was close to the beach. There was a supermarket and restaurants near the hotel. There was parking for our car. There was a beautiful garden for a nice breakfast or dinner. Beautiful and tastefully made yard. Quietly located in relation to the main streets.

Value for money was disappointing. Old and dilapidated equipped room. The rooms were very crowded and you could hear everything from the other rooms. The blankets did not change for 5 days from which we were there. The room was just being cleaned and the blankets were folded.

Locatie en eigenaren zijn geweldig!

De locatie is helemaal perfect. Dichtbij het strand, maar aan een rustige weg. Restaurants en winkeltje in de straat. De eigenaren zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en servicegericht, maar niet opdringerig of te aanwezig. Zij hebben ons verblijf een gouden randje gegeven!

Het bed was slecht. Erg smal, doorgelegen en veel te zacht matras. De kamer verder is basic, maar prima.

Prima hotel op toplocatie!

Prettige ontvangst door de gastheer. Toplocatie op zo'n 7 minuten lopen van de befaamde trap naar het strand van Westerschouwen. Dichtbij bossen en duinen. Meerdere restaurants binnen een paar 100 meter. Goed ontbijt. Vrije toegang tot de mooie tuin en het dakterras.

Onze voorkeur ging uit naar een kamer met twee losse bedden. Helaas waren deze al verhuurd en sliepen wij in een bed van 140 cm. Prima bed, maar een beetje aan de smalle kant.

Sehr freundliche und entgegenkommende Gastwirte, die uns bei allen Fragen weitergeholfen haben. Schöner garten, ruhige Lage. Hervorragendes Frühstück mit vielen frischen Zutaten.

Zimmer war sehr klein und nur mit Gangtoilette. Man sollte bei der Buchung nach Möglichkeit ein Zimmer mit Toilette buchen.

Unsauber. Die Ausstattung war katastrophal. Das Ladegerät vom Handy fiel aus der Steckdose. Die Dusche wechselte alle paar Sekunden die Temperatur. Vom Frühstück war der Kaffee am besten. Dass ich vorher bezahlen musste, hatte scheinbar seinen Grund.

Zeer goed en uitgebreid ontbijt en vriendelijk personeel. Mooie tuin.

Gedateerd en zeer gehorig. Riolering borrelt op in douche en wastafel en spettert. Slecht doorgelegen bed. Jammer dat ontbijt pas om 0900 uur beschikbaar is.

Wundervolle, erholsamer, pittoresker und ruher Ort um abzuschalten, mit seinem Hund den Urlaub zu genießen und Unternehm

Alles super praktisch für meinen Hund und mich! :) Pittoreske Wohnanlage gelegen in ebenso pittoresker Lage in Mitten von Westenschouwen, Zeeland Niederlande. Alles Wichtige war vorhanden: Privates Chalet als privaten Rückzugsort, gemütliches Franz. Bett, kleines Badezimmer, Wohnzimmer mit großer Küche. -Alles, was das Herz begehrt. Ausreichend Fenster zum Lüften. Das Chalet ist abschließbar. Zum morgendlichen Frühstück kann man sich gemütlich in den Garten setzten, wenn es das Wetter erlaubt oder man bleibt im Haus. Das Frühstück ist üppig und mit diversen Möglichkeiten an Leckereien zu gestalten. Die Hotelbetreiber sind äußerst freundlich und erwecken einen absolut sympathischen Eindruck. Man fühlt sich direkt aufgenommen und versorgt. Das Wichtigste und weiter Schöne ist ebenso nur fußweit entfernt.

Dass das nicht meine eigene Urlaubs-Unterkunft war. :-)

Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Die Betreiber des Hotels sind sehr freundlich, nett und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war wirklich klasse. Es fehlte nichts. Der Garten in dem man sich aufhalten und Frühstücken kann ist absolut sehenswert. Sollte das Wetter nicht mitspielen, dann gibt es einen gemütlichen Frühstücksraum. Zudem ist das Hotel sehr sauber. Und die Lage ist einfach perfekt, der Strand ist in wenigen Minuten erreicht. Fahrradtouren oder Wandertouren können von hier ebenso gut gestartet werden.

Die Zimmer sind recht klein und die Dusche und das Waschbecken befinden sich direkt im Zimmer. Die Toiletten befinden sich auf dem Flur. Aber das weiß man, da es beim Buchen erklärt wird. Alles in Allem aber dennoch OK.

De accommodatie is door de tijd ingehaald. het hotel ademt een nostalgische sfeer, maar onze kamer voldeed niet echt aan de eisen van vandaag, geen airco, geen eigen toilet. Ontbijt niet inbegrepen in prijs. Daarmee wat ons betreft te duur voor wat er geboden wordt

Kleines, privates Hotel. Schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber und ordentlich. Sehr freundliches Personal, alle Wünsche wurden erfüllt. Frühstück sehr gut und liebevoll gemacht!

Heerlijk verblijf dicht aan zee

Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, uitgebreid ontbijt en op loop afstand van het strand en restaurants. Verder rustig gelegen tussen vakantie parken met kleine supermarkt in de straat. Heerlijke tuin en dakterras, zouden er zo terug gaan.

Geen hoge verwachtingen hebben van het hotel zelf hoewel de kamer prima was. Het is erg gehorig en het is gedateerd waardoor niet alles meer perfect functioneert (bv losse wc bril, douchkop niet meer in andere standen te zetten etc)
