Helpful and kind staff. Quiet inside despite being in a busy area. Comfortable bed. Reception area has some relaxed seating.
I booked at very short notice when an island stay was cancelled due to bad weather. The receptionist allowed me to check in several hours early.
No soap for bathroom sink - you have to take it from dispenser on the shower. Blue-tone lighting is harsh

Good size room, which was clean and had strong AC. Located 5 mins walk from beach. And close to Plaza Bocagrande. Also close to lots of cafes, restaurants and bars.
Breakfast could have had a bit more variety

We stayed for one night and the price was good compared to other places
The room was rather oldschool (but clean!). The breakfast had limited options. The worst part was that when turning on the light in the bathroom, the fan gave the sound of a plane taking off :D - super loud, non stop sound! It also wasn't cool that the only window in the room was facing the corridor of the hotel which means that in the end we had to keep the blinds down all the time.
