Cozy place to stay for a night

Location is good and it was quiet at night. There is enough parking place in front of the reception. When you arrive, you will see the public parking near the hotel. You just drive thru the park and that you can park in fron to the reception for free. Breakfast was fine. You can make waffles by yourself.

Anker Brygge is like a home away from warm and is cozy like your favorite sweater or slippers.

We arrived earlier than the scheduled check in time and the staff let us check in early and store our luggage so we could return our rental car. We were told about breakfast at 7am; however, we had a ferry to catch at 6am. They provided us with a breakfast package and hand delivered it to our cozy cabin. The staff was kind and professional. The cabins were warm, cozy, and clean. The location was extremely convenient for all activities and to catch the ferry. We definitely recommend Anker Brygge and plan to return when we visit Norway and Svolvaer again.

We wish we could have stayed longer. I have zero complaints about this establishment.

Beautiful, but hidden costs.

The traditional buildings that we stay in had character. The breakfast was delicious.

We booked a cabin with more than one room as it was my mother and I travelling and we did not want to share a bed. On arrival we found out we had to pay extra to access the additional bedroom in the cabin as it was locked. This should be made clearer when you book. If I book a cabin with multiple bedrooms I expect to be able to access those bedrooms without having to pay extra.

We loved the location

The location was great; the views are beautiful. We had good runs on the northern lights from the apartment. Breakfast was a good spread too.

The furnishing was somewhat tired; some of the kitchen equipment could be replaced. We had a dishwasher but was not provided with the cleaning tablets. Also, the cleaning sponge wasn’t changed when we arrived.

Perfect for 4 people to stay.

It has everything you need for cooking expect for an oven. Definitely a good place for someone wants to prepare meal for their stay. It also has a sauna which I didn’ know, so it’s a plus for me, especially when the weather is raining. You need to book in advance.

Parking could be full since late afternoon, but they do trying to help you with it.

Great stay and location

We rented a 2-room cottage. Since it was the 2 of us, the 2nd room was locked, which was totally fine. The cottage was spacious and had everything we needed. The view was great, location was within walking distance of restaurants, downtown, etc., cottage was very clean and comfortable, and, the breakfast was great!

Because the cottage was on ground level, it made us a little uncomfortable leaving a window open at night because the public can walk on the dock around the cottages. They can also look in through the windows, too, so closing the curtains is a must.

Beautiful old building, full of character but had good facilities. Great location for Svolvaer and ferries.

Friday night- loud DJ music playing from 10.30-2.30 - heard the thump of the music from a nearby building. May be seasonal but disturbed our sleep.

Excellent Lodging Option with Good Breakfast and Great Views in Central Svolvaer

Anker Brygge is situated on a small island across a short bridge from the center of Svolvaer. The cabin I stayed in had two bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a kitchen, TV and good Wi-Fi. The view from the kitchen was spectacular with the famous Lofoten mountains fully visible on the horizon. The breakfast is very good and there is plenty of parking if you're driving. The bus stop from the airport and beyond is about a 10-minute walk away from the hotel. I enjoyed my stay at Anker Brygge and highly recommend it as an excellent budget option (by Lofoten standards) in central Svolvaer.

Breakfast was amazing, so much choice to cater for all tastes. Free parking made it very easy to use location as a starting point to visit other places such as Å, Reine, Uttakleiv Beach & Henningsvær for day trips.

Maybe some conditioner in shower, but that's being picky. Everything was great.

Super Place to Stay in Svolvaer

I loved the location--right on the Harbour and close to all amenities. I am a vegetarian, so the kitchen was so useful since a variety of vegetarian food is not readily available in Svolvaer. The breakfast buffet was wonderful.

I think a blackout curtain would be good iin the bedroom n the late spring and summer when there is so much light.

Very Well stay @Lofoten

Clean, very big and one bathroom for each bedroom. We find also a well equipped kitchen, with salt and all the necessary to cook or relax with a cup of tea. Breakfast with a big choice of products, also salmone and fruit! Very Good!

Everything is bad, the room is not worth the price: dirty and uncomfortable. The bathroom and the bedroom were in a state of disrepair (see pictures). Furthermore, they advertise ‘free parking’ which is not true: Parking onsite is limited and was full when we arrived so we had to pay for parking elsewhere.

Rorbuer night

Perfect for a rorbuer experience. We had an entire apartment (2 rooms) for us. Directly on the harbor, furnished with all object bringing memories to the sailors/fishermen life. The room is equipped with all appliance, if people want to stay longer, we had just one night. Nice breakfast, but don't expect extreme variety, is served in a separate annex near the reception.

Not a big issue, but consider that onsite parking spots will fill rapidly, and you'll be required to park nearby. It's a 5' walk distance, and from a certain hours in the evening parking in town is free.

We were in cabin 203, everything was nice except the was a party at night on Friday and Saturday. The cabin is opposite of the restaurant where the party was held, the music was so loud and we could sleep for 2 nights. If you look at quite place for a good sleep, avoid cabin 203 and 204

Don’t stay in rooms above the restaurant!

Great location, clean room, excellent buffet breakfast.

We stayed in one of the suites above the restaurant, luckily we were there during the week so we didn’t have any noise from the restaurant/bar below, but there was no WiFi in our room. Supposedly there was supposed to be, but it didn’t work. When we asked the front desk about this, we got the feeling from the tone of voice that this was a known issue. We asked if it could be fixed. The woman said, “I cannot fix it.” Okay? So my husband asked if there was someone else who could fix it. The woman simply said she would call someone in that tone that was very obvious that she was not going to do anything about it. This hotel costs way too much to not have operating WiFi in the rooms, something that most international travelers are relying on. Also, the flippant attitude of the workers is unnecessary. No idea if the WiFi worked elsewhere on the property. As an aside, the rooms in this building were also quite warm and it was too noisy outside to open the windows.

Everything generally fine, expect for no sleep due to laud karaoke music

The facilities, location and service was generally very good. We were generally happy about everything, except from the fact, that it was impossible to sleep before 3 am Wednesday to Saturday because of very loud karaoke music from the bar downstairs.

In the room we had, the music from karaoke event downstairs was so loud, that there was no possibility for sleeping before 3 am from Wednesday till Saturday, not even to relax in the room. If you consider staying in Anker Brygge, be sure to clarify with the staff beforehand, that no karaoke event is taking place.
