Felt they could have made an exception as the hotel was empty and our dog is well behaved

Food was fresh

They charged for the dog but it wasn’t allowed in the restaurant. Not told that when we booked. The restaurant was empty. Told we could have our meal in our room, not ideal. If a dog isn’t permitted in the restaurant, the Hotel shouldn’t charge.

Nothing is too much trouble. Staying at the Campanile id like coming home.

Contact was made and I returned to the Campanile to pick it up. Secondly the young lady who cooked us fish snd chips when arrived late and the kitchen was closed. They are both a credit to the organisation.

Passable but would not book here again.

Not much to be honest. It was a bed for the night after a long drive.

Location was very far out and white isolated to travel to at night. We were meant to have a premium-style twin room but it was relatively small and basic. Not to mention freezing as I couldn't get heat I g to work. Didn't try any other facilities so cannot comment on them.

Charmingly run Campanile

Renewed modernized and reasonable room size. Coffee making facilities. Despite hosting a large coach party our dinner was cooked well and came without delay. Breakfast nice too. Very friendly staff. As usual enough grass to walk little dog 🐶

A bit hard to navigate to. Google maps took us up this crazy narrow mountain. But we found it at last.

the toilet wasn’t clean. the inside of the Ev bowl was dirty and there was no toilet brush. I was informed by reception that they didn’t supply toilet brushes in the wake of covid! does not make sense!

We stay here often as it suits us for travelling from the north of France to the south.

The hotel suits us as a stopover with our dog from getting to one destination to the next. We can get a meal and a night's rest. There is also a good breakfast provided but we normally leave before breakfast.

At 5.30 in the morning the water for our shower was cold. It did heat up however, after about 20 minutes.

Lots of good points spoilt by poor attention to detail.

Meals fine. Staff (especially Claire) were kind and very helpful.

The inlet valve in the toilet cistern would not close when the cistern was full. This caused a noisy flow of water into the toilet bowl making sleep difficult. Plus the pillows were lumpy.
