About this house rental
Ala Hale is a luxurious island retreat with stunning views of the ocean & majestic mountain views. Located on the Makai Golf Course at the 6th hole, within the prestigious resort community of Princeville, Ala Hale's large private pool and spacious lanai's let you experience the North Shore's spectacular sunsets like no other!
Settled in a quiet community, this lovely 4 bedroom, 4-bathroom home will provide a memorable getaway on Kauai's North Shore for up to 8 guests.

The Space:
Upper floor:
Vaulted ceilings enhance the bright and open floor plan. The upstairs great room is equipped with a full kitchen, dining room and comfortable living room with a large screen smart TV/DVD. Ocean Views from the Master Suite, Living Room, Dining Area, Kitchen, and Lanai. On the upper floor is the 1st master suite with a Cal King bed and luxury linens. this master suite also includes it own master bath.
The upper floor also includes a guest bedroom with a Cal King bed and shared full bath.
Lower Level:
The lower level has 2 guests bedrooms. Guest bedroom 1, you will find a cal king bed as well as a private bathroom with shower. Guest bedroom 2, you will also find a cal king bed as well as a shared bathroom (with shower) with the lower living room area.
In the lower level, there is also an entertainment room sofa (pull out mattress) with a flat screen TV, a kitchenette with a second coffee maker, as well as a small breakfast table and a lower outside lanai and dining table.
Overview:
This house has plenty of room for a large family to spread out. Located in a great neighborhood and within walking distance to Queen's Bath, the Hotel 1, Hideaway's Beach, yoga and fitness classes, it makes for the perfect vacation home.
Anini Beach, Kalihiwai, Hanalei Bay and Tunnels Beach are all just minutes away by car.

*Also Note: This house has AC in all of the bedrooms, as well as the Living Area. However, because of the high cost of electricity, the AC is setup as an optional use. $25 per day will be charged at guests request if they choose to use the AC

This house was perfect for my family traveling to Kauai for a wedding. All details were thought of amazing space and the views could not be beaten highly recommend this rental property.

Loved the house. Well appointed, cozy beds and clean. The patios facing the golf course make for truly magical mornings and evenings. The host are very generous with beach chairs, towels, some toys, bikes and more. Makes beach days very easy.Albatross nesting area feet from the house, watching the cute babies all week was amazing.One item of note, a house is being built next door, as of March 2025. So if you plan on visiting in the near future, there will be construction happening.

After we activated (and paid extra for) the air conditioners, we enjoyed this beautiful home immensely. Being from the south we were just not used to upper 70’s to low 80 degree temps without a/c. Golf course and ocean views were wonderful, and the birds were a hoot. Very pleased.
