The staff were excellent. Nice breakfast with good choice.
Aircon didn’t seem to function correctly and when it did it was extremely noisy.

Lovely friendly hotel. A through back to the 70s in it's decor but oozing charm.
The breakfast was minimal and sometimes there was no fresh food left.

the hotel is conveniently located within easy walking distance of the long distance train station. it is a pretty structure, with comfortable beds and pleasant staff, and fully functional elevator.
the breakfast is frankly very meager - maybe because my stay was in the days immediately before Christmas, but the selection was frankly poor. there was also an issue with a very strongly scented disinfectant spray used throughout the room and bathroom, which was persistent even after 3 days of open windows (in winter), and which gave me a very strong "allergic reaction" headache (I discussed this with the staff).
