We had a group of 9 adults (2 extended families) with one 18 month old. It was a great home - well-equipped with easy access to/from slopes.Access by car was a little more difficult - with 4-wheel drive a necessity (and even with 4WD, SUV's were sliding on the roads). But we had the good fortune of a lot of snow, and with a well equipped house, we were content to stay "at home"..

We have skied Big Sky for many years and we are very familiar with the area. This was a great home for our big family! This house had everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked with spices, coffee, mixer, blender, crock pot, you name it! The ski in/out was right outside the garage and was easy enough for the green skiers in our group. We had movie night two nights in the theater! We loved that every room had its own private bathroom. The heated floors were nice too! We loved this house and all the amenities. Beth was super helpful at check in and out. Be sure to get a 4wheel drive car for snowy conditions.

It was so nice to be able to have all of our family together under one roof instead of renting two houses like we often have to. We had two foxes that visited the back door every night and a bull moose that walked right by the driveway.

The property is very large and can house allot of people but for the price I expected it to be a little more put together. The linens are all in need of replacement. These flying ants are inside the house. And the oven was broken the entire time we were there. Really hard to cook for 20 people on a bbq only. The property manager was very quick to respond and does a great job. The views from the house are really good.

Our extended family of 14 stayed at this location in early April and it was perfect for a group that size. The great room and dining area are perfect - and provide everyone a place to sit. And the kitchen is well equipped for preparing big meals. Our kids really enjoyed the downstairs movie area and the easy access to skiing. The garage has tons of storage for skis, a giant boot dryer, and a door right out to the slopes. Skiing back to the house takes some figuring out - but once you learn the path it's not hard. Overall this an awesome place to spend a week.

A beautiful house with fantastic amenities! Nine of us were very comfortable (without sharing beds) and found the cleanliness and decor to be top notch. Ski-in/ski-out worked great for our group of mixed-ability skiers. The only problem we had was a malfunctioning sauna, which I'm sure Jim would have fixed had we notified him! But we were so happy with the great hot tub and steam room that the sauna wasn't missed. Highly recommended!

This home is spacious and laid out where you can have some privacy with your own bathroom... that was important to our family. It also has a theatre room and large living/dining area to gather and be together. our family of 16 enjoyed it and never felt like we were on top of each other. Our contact Beth, was the absolute best. She was very helpful and went the extra mile for us. We will be back for sure!!

We gathered three generations at this house for the best Big Sky Ski Trip! It's nestled in the mountains, just steps from a ski hill that runs down to Pony Express Chair List. Our group loved the easy access to the slopes, the spacious dining and living room area, the hot tub and movie room. Communication was great with the property manager. Ordered some catered meals from Gourmet Gals--highly recommend. We truly had the best stay and created so many memories, can't wait to come back!

The best part about this property is the location. True ski in-ski out access. The space is also very usable for a large group. We are 15 people, 3 generations. Plenty of room to spread out or be together. The host/property manager is very responsive and helpful. Now the disappointing parts. Pillows, linens, towels are in serious need of upgrading. At this price point there is really no excuse for such poor quality on an item so easy to get right. The pillows were bad enough we probably would have bought new ones if there was a store nearby. The towels, blankets, etc all had a foul smell. The kitchen is not very well equipped. For a large group, we cook and eat in. It was not easy at this house. Several closets were locked. This usually is expected, owners need a place to store their stuff. But there were quite a few resulting in very limited space to unpack. There are no dressers or usable shelves in the bedrooms. So, overview- a house with the big things done well, but the easy things done not so well.

With 3 families gathering for the 23rd year, this home turned out to be perfect! Everyone could hang out together in the unusual multi-sofa living area and, as a rare bonus, Everyone could sit together at the dinner table!! The movie room, hot tub and steam shower were well used, as well as the big puzzle selection & such a treat! The house manager, Beth, was so nice & immediately responsive to our SOS call for a new coffee machine & a couple other small issues & was much appreciated by all. But best of all is the location! Ski in/out was ideal & we found we could cut out pony express by making a short walk up the road & skiing a path directly to Iron Horse lift - a faster track to the runs off Challenger! We will definitely be staying here again!! (Some upgraded pillows & a little more food storage space in the kitchen would make this place 6 stars!)

The best thing about this place is it’s size. The property is definitely made to handle large crowds. Location was really great too. We had a friendly visit from a fox that seemed to know the house well:) The hot tub was a nice addition too. Two of the burners on the stove need to be fixed but I have told the property managers so I’m sure they will. The living room with all the couches was great. First time ever we all had a seat. From the pictures it looks a little strange but it definitely works!

I can't say enough good things about this rental. It was cozy, beautiful, and truly the best ski-in/ski-out location! The mudroom/garage was perfect. There was something for everyone and room to spread out. The location was so close that we came in from skiing to eat lunch and could easily get right back out on the slopes. The owner was responsive and accommodating and we LOVED all the photos and posters.

Overall good. Lots of space for family. Kitchen storage filled with lots of “leftover” food etc from prior guests/owner. Not much storage room available. The 7th bedroom was disappointing. Long way from bath & seemed an after thought. Bedrooms did not have dressers/ shelves etc for clothes & personal items. The home is beautiful & everyone had a great time. Kids loved the movie room & sleds for snow play. Boot racks were great & ski & gear storage in garage very handy.

The home is spacious and comfortably luxurious, and the entire property is so beautiful! We actually had a fox come up to the back deck, in search of the burgers on the grill, in remained for several minutes. A moose wandered down the side of the house and onto the property across the drive-so majestic! Our family reunion, after the separations caused by COVID-19 was much needed and enjoyed by all. I cannot thank Jim Mace and his staff enough for their welcoming attitude and assistance through our stay!

We were a family of 10 adults, two teens and two under the age of 5. The house was truly amazing. Everyone had plenty of room to spread out or come together at the dinner table which was able to accommodate everyone at one time. We rarely see that in other homes. The views were spectacular and we even had a deer and fox visit us several days. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked including very large pots, pans and bowls. All in all a wonderful house and would not hesitate to rent again.

This property exceeded expectations. There were 4 families - 17 people (kids outnumbered adults) that stayed in this beautiful home and we fit perfectly and never once felt crowded. The pictures don’t do it justice. And the convenience for skiing was outstanding. You simply stepped out the garage door and were on a ski run! And the garage was the perfect staging area to get all our gear on plus the boot warmer was awesome. And any questions I had were answered very promptly. We felt very welcome in this home. I’d highly recommend.
