The quirky, interesting art and design of the rooms. The beds were super comfortable and the location excellent, right opposite the Atarazanas food market where you can eat fabulous seafood tapas! Very friendly and helpful staff who explained where to catch the train to the airport, so easy! I also liked the additional touches, like the free drinks voucher, the bottle of water and sweets on arrival.
Our room was on the main street, and the traffic noise was pretty loud.

We were right in the middle of the old town and the Easter procession, which we really enjoyed seeing.
Only that the procession continued until 3 am with lots of noise - trumpets playing and drums banging!

This is a three star hotel and it delivered at that level. We were upgraded to an superior room, which was still a bit small (can't imagine what a "small double" would have been like). A nice little bar and an acceptable breakfast, although there is an all-day breakfast place across the street with a lot more variety. Location was handy.
The comfortable bed filled the room, leaving a very small space to pass between the end of the bed and the window. Quite noisy outside (the market is across the street) but the noise almost disappeared when the windows were closed. Took a long time for hot water to appear.
