The hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the bus station, with direct buses to the Vatican (about 7 stops). The breakfast was very good, with plenty of options to choose from. The room was clean and comfortable.
The room is older than it appears in the photos, and it felt a bit warm due to the heating.

We had a wonderful stay at the Cardinal Hotel. The half-board option was excellent — we really enjoyed the breakfast selection, and the dinners were absolutely fantastic. Our room overlooked a beautiful old Italian villa, which added so much charm and character to the stay. The bathroom was spacious with a great-sized bath, making it extra comfortable and relaxing. Public transport was easy to navigate and just a short walk from the hotel entrance, which made getting around very convenient. We would happily stay here again.
Unfortunately, our experience with the maître d’ was disappointing, as he became quite abrupt when we arrived late for our reservation. The patio area in the evenings felt a bit lacking, as there was no lighting or background music in the hotel, which took away from the atmosphere.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel's location is also excellent for visiting Rome.. and a great breakfast.
The room was noisy due to an adjoining door where we could hear everything from the next room. Cleanliness was just average (neither good nor bad). We were also disappointed that we couldn't use the wellness facilities; the pool was cold, and the jacuzzi only ran during the day (9:00–19:00), which is when we were out exploring.
