The Neighborhood:
The neighborhood of Frangista Beach consists of mostly large homes where families come to vacation. It spans the equivalent of approximately 4 blocks. The neighborhood has a 400 yard private beach which you must have a code to access. This home is within walking distance of a coffee shop, deli, Dairy Queen, a beach gear shop and local favorite beach front seafood restaurants, Pompano Joe`s and Whales Tale. Frangista Beach is also home to Emerald Coast Wine Cellars where you can sample and purchase wines made exclusively in Florida. A large Winn-Dixie grocery store is 1.5 miles to the east and beside it you will find the largest designer outlet mall in the Southeast, Silver Sands Premium Outlet. Frangista Beach has a rich history that began when a family from Greece built a small motel and, subsequently, a little white Synagogue (which still stands to this day). Many brides are married on the Frangista Beach and use the picturesque chapel for photographs. Taking into consideration all of the issues below, we did enjoy our stay. Very well laid out house with so much room you could go the whole week and not see each other. Great location with quick beach access. With that said, there were some issues with the house:
1. Bugs: we found numerous bugs (some very large) around the house, including in the kids bunk beds.
2. Both dishwashers are very difficult to use. One was leaking and both had bottom racks that fell every single time you pulled them out to load or unload.
3. Outdoor fireplace wasn't working and couldn't be fixed. They provided a table top fire option but with little kids this was not safe for us to use. It was a very cold week and the outdoor fireplace was a feature we were very much looking forward to using. Management did reply to this service request very quickly but were unable to fix it and said it had been broken the week prior also
4. ZERO beach equipment for our use, including beach towels. With this large of a house and the expectation with a large group that many of them may be from farther away than driving permits, I would think that at this rate, they would have provided some type of eqiupment or, at a minimum, beach towels.
5. One of the ovens has the door falling off so everytime you opened the oven the door facade fell on the floor.
Again, these are items that could be easily addressed and make this a 5 star review. The pool heater stopped working and management addressed it very promptly.

This home was used for our wedding week and it was perfect . The house was in great condition and bedrooms are huge and the bathrooms are all updated and everyone was comfortable in our group of about 21 . We wanted to share a week away with our closest family and friends and everyone loved the house and the pool area. The outside area was beyond perfect and where we spent most of our time .We were married on Frangista Beach and had a reception pool side at the house. Every piece of what I dreamed of came true it was perfect. Carrie was beyond exceptional as was all the staff but she even came to the property to meet me and tell us in person congratulations . I would happily come back to Aegean or any other beach reunion property and would highly recommend them to anyone.
