We wanted a good place to stay on a Danube bicycle trip. It was ideal. Not fancy, but welcoming and with good food and decent rooms.

What a great property with fantastic view on the river and Aschach, great Danube serviced beach below, good as a one night stay on bike trip or long weekend hide.
The real let down was closed restaurant/Danube terrace. We came again as we stayed a few years ago and had a memorable evening and dinner here. This time we had to jump on bikes and travel across the river and back for dinner subpar location. I think that if the owners do not manage to revive the terrace/restaurant, the place will struggle. That would be real shame, this place has such a potential.
