The entrance room was flabbergasting - a real sports car and pictures of sports cars.
A very nice lady in the breakfast room and great receptionists every time I approached them. Excellent room with a bed on a gallery. We were absolutely taken. We felt home the moment we arrived and felt sorry we had to leave

The breakfast was good. The location was within walking distance of one of the places I specifically came to see.
The upper rooms are somewhat warm and I could not adjust the temperature which would have been helpful after walking 10 miles that day.

Bed and bathroom were clean, which were the most important points. Location was not bad as it is easily accessible by car and public transport. Some staff members were friendly.
Although booking.com said in advance that the price included everything, we had to pay extra for our dog. It was 15 euros per night, which we consider to be very expensive (other hotels might charge five euros per night, others nothing at all). It would have been the least for the hotel and/or booking.com to give a heads up about this.
Additionally, the staff member that checked us in was kind of passive-aggressive and aloof right from the beginning. We didn't feel welcomed checking in – at least the other staff members we came across during the following days were friendly.
Tap water in the bathroom was only available in warm and luke warm – no cold water.
The carpeted floor in the room was not very clean and the desk had accumulated some dust.
The interior design of the room was a bit bland, but okay.
The pillows were horribly soft and out of form.
