It was great. Close to the lake and public parking area was easily accessible.

Perfect for a solo getaway!

This hotel was perfect for a little summer stay! I was on the third floor and it was very spacious. It had very towels which I appreciate and everything was clean. The staff was very nice and informative.

I wish there was a mini fridge and a little kettle in the room since during the summer months it can get quite hot and there is no air conditioning. Along with that, keep in thin that the walls are thin and you can hear everything going on outside your room but just bring earplugs if that bothers you!

the stay was great. gerardmer is a great place. i recommend it. if you only stay 1 night.

excellent position near the lake

property was not that good. insects were found a little bit everywhere in the room. I didn't notice when booking, but there is no air conditionning or anything to make coffee or tee. That's a shame. at least a kettle would have been nice and needed. Breakfast is expensive. 13,50€ per person, when you have it all for 8.50€ in a great coffee shop nearby. Noises are also a not so good thing. you can hear the neighbours walk around their room.

Disappointed

The location was ok although saying it had a lake view was stretching things a bit. The water was barely visible and it was across a large car park and through trees and buildings. The car park was free and close by. There was a hotel car park as well but it felt safer parking in the public car park.

The room was very poor quality. Not at all like it looked in the booking.com photos. The carpet was bleach stained and the decoration was very tired. It was very hot and had no aircon. It looked as if the place was being renovated but our room hadn’t been done. The hotel was mostly unmanned and the staff were not particularly friendly. Not rude but indifferent.

from 2 bookings i made they only had one but luckily they had a reserve room which was different than what I had actually booked. (do not use their own reservation system when booking is sold out) we were here for the triathlon in Gerardmer and they gave us no flexibility on check out even the access to the hotel is blocked all day because of the race. one of the rooms was very small.

The sound proofing is bad, you can hear people opening their cupboard in the rooms nearby and people walking on the above floor. Downside too for the breakfast: no eggs, not a lot of bread and no fresh juice.

Drunk people on the parking lot in front of the hotel come there EVERY single night to yell and disturb.

Clean, comfortable and close to the lake. We had an enjoyable stay.

The breakfast was nothing special, just pastries and fruit, which wasn't really enough to prepare for a day of hiking.

Saddest place!

Despite all the negatives, hotel is in front of the lake and well located in the city.

Breakfast was horrible, no option of food, old crackers, bad cheese, no fresh ingredients, a disaster. Hotel feels almost like abandoned. Facility is for 40 years outdated, furniture has bad quality, doors are thin like paper, locks have for sure been refurbished after been broken. Disaster! Also there is no vibe in the hotel, feels like a haunted house. It is low price, but I’d strongly recommend to spend 30€ more per night and stay in a better place.

Exceptional

My reservation was moved to hotel beau rivage so my comments are on hotel beau rivage. It was wonderful stay for us, with a view on the lake, the pool was ok and it wasn't overcrowded (actually it was empty).

Hôtel correct pour 1 nuit

La vue de l’hôtel sur le lac.

L’hôtel est correct pour y séjourner 1 nuit. Il est très vieux et 1 coup de peinture lui ferait du bien. La literie est très bonne, par contre nous n’avions pas 1 grand lit mais 2 lits jumeaux côte à côte un peu compliqué de dormir, les matelas bougent. Il manque 1 salon et 1 bar pourtant dans 1 autre vie tous ces équipement existaient. C’est encore présent mais fermé. On demande à l’arrivée une carte bancaire, au cas où ?? Surtout pour ce genre d’hôtel, on ne va pas partir avec une serviette, et pas de mini bar dans la chambre. Nous n’avons pas pris de petit déjeuner. C’est un peu cher. La dame à l accueil très agréable. Ps : on ne peut pas accéder à la piscine de l’hôtel Beau Rivage comme il est indiqué, cela est juste valable en basse saison contre une participation de 20€

La proximité avec le lac, le confort de la literie.

Pas assez insonorisé dans l'hôtel, la porte de la chambre était lourde sans ralentisseur donc un peu pénible surtout qu'elle claquait. Pas de bouilloire dans la chambre pour un café pour un thé , pas de bouteille d'eau, pas d'échantillons de produit dans la salle de bain.J'ai trouvé un peu cher le tarif vis a vis du peu de prestations.

Nuit très agréable !

L'emplacement et la chambre proposée étaient les points forts de ce séjour. La chambre était grande avec un petit sas ce qui permet de ne pas entendre le bruit du couloir. La salle de bain séparée des toilettes étaient très belle. Le tout d'une propreté très agréable.

J'ai moins apprécié le petit déjeuner qui me semble t il n'est pas à la hauteur du prix. Il pourrait y avoir plus de variété ou du moins il y a une marge de progrès.

Proximité avec le lac et centre ville, restaurants, à 10minutes. La réceptionniste est très accueillante, encore merci. La chambre est très correcte, grande douche, très propre. Petit déjeuner très correcte également. Je reviendrai certainement.

Das Zimmer war genau so wie auf den Fotos dargestellt und recht geräumig. Zum Frühstück (z.Zt. 13,50) wird ein reichhaltiges Buffett angeboten, das kaum Wünsche offen lässt (British Breakfast ausgenommen). Neben dem Hotel konnten wir unser Auto auf dem hoteleigenen Parkplatz abstellen. Der See (Lac du Gerardmer) ist fußläufig erreichbar.

Bon séjour très court (1 nuit).

La situation de l'hôtel est top. Le personnel est très sympa. La chambre et les sanitaires étaient propres.

La vétusté du mobilier et les joints des sanitaires sont à repeindre. Les fenêtres en vis-à-vis ne peuvent être occultés que par des rideaux, ce qui fait qu'en journée. Il manque des voilages.
