Family time in Vence

Convient for the old town and public transport. Small pool

Kind and attentive service

Stuff was really attentive, patient and very friendly. This is unique to France to have such an excellent and kind service . The hôtel has all you need for one night stay , maybe two. I also liked the mattress , was definitely new and chosen with care. I slept well.

The property needs to have an update, walls in the rooms are tired. Also lobby is outdated.

Great Value for Money!

Great value for money! Conveniently located near the Vence town centre. The room (superior double) was basic in style and infrastructure but very comfortable and nice, with a little balcony. It was a short, 10 min walk to the bus station and about 15 min to the town center. It is well connected with Nice and St Paul de Vence, the nearest attraction.

The hotel did not respond to several messages I sent them ahead of our visit (via Booking and also directly) regarding public transportation for getting there. But it's a small negative, given that they are a small operation in regional France. However, if they can improve their communication with customers it will be great.

6 nights at Le Floreal

The location is brilliant and walking distance to the centre of Vence. The staff were very friendly and helpful with tips on where to visit on the Cote d'Azure.

The bedsheets weren't changed daily. The breakfast spread wasn't wide enough

Great hotel for a short stay, big rooms

The location was away from the centre, but close enough for a 10 minute easy stroll to the center. The hotel itself is old and reminds me of the 1980s Brutalist architecture of the old Soviet Union, but nonetheless clean and the rooms were actually bigger than most hotel rooms around the area, with the added bonus of a very good sized balcony. Although we didn't use the pool, it was a good size with a depth of 0.90metres on one end and 2.50 metres on the other, so deep enough for a dive. Although we were only there for a night, every staff we came across was friendly and helpful

Breakfast was really not that great, the sausages were awful and the scrambled eggs not edible at all (too watery). Soft baked cookies were delicious though! But for what's on offer, the charge for breakfast was not worth what was offered in our opinion. Not sure what to make of the €10 a night for car parking in front of the hotel when just behind the hotel there's off street (free) parking that's almost always available

Perfect location for our walking holiday in hills behind Vence

The twin room had everythin* we needed and a terrace to a garden, which led to the swimming pool, which we had to ourselves

Exceptional

We were driving from Italy and I realised about an hour before check in that we didn’t know where to park. I messaged the hotel who immediately responded and reserved a spot in their lot for us. It may sound like a small gesture but after a long day on the road meant a lot to us so we could enjoy our evening.

Overnight Stay instead of Airport NCE

We had a recently renovated room 106. The bed was comfortable. A nice balcony overlooking a private yard. Parking was available and accessible. Staff was very helpful. A 20 minute drive to the airport in Nice. Vence was a very interesting place to explore. Old town was only a 10 minute walk from the hotel.

There was an unpleasant odour when we walked from the reception to our room. I think the hallway carpets need cleaning/replacing. The actual room was fine.

Superb

The owner went out of his way to help us. We arrived late after 8:45pm as we had problems with our car leaving the airport. The hotel was very clean and nothing was too much trouble. Position is excellent as you could walk into Vence.

Convenient hotel for visiting Vence

The location was convenient as there is a car park and the walk into town takes 10 minutes

I thought breakfast was poor with lack of fruit and mediocre quality products. On the 2nd day I cancelled it and walked to a cafe in town.

Good Hotel

Good Hotel, very well located, with a spacious room and a wonderful shower.

The common areas are too small and caused a bad impression. Overall appearance kind of disappointing. From the photos in the sites, it seemed nicer.
